Abilities: Firebending (crimson flames), master with an axe, eventually red lightning, eventually fire jets.
Weapon: A medium-sized axe made of black steel, it can be used with one hand or with two. It's a family relic hundreds of years old.
Firebending: While Y/N begins as an average fire bender, after the prologue he has improved to be a very strong one, somewhere in between Zuko and Azula.
Nickname: Eventually, the crew members on the ship gave Y/N the nickname "The Crimson Lord". When people tell of his battles that's what they refer to him as. He hasn't made much of a name for himself yet though, apart from his relation to nobility.
Family: Y/N's father is a Fire Nation general and the head of a very wealthy and influential Fire Nation family. Y/N's mother is a distant relative of the Fire Lord. Needless to say, Y/N has had a very lavish upbringing and is glad to be part of the Fire Nation nobility. Y/N has a sister, Ji, who is 2 years younger than him.
Notes: This starts about 3 years before the story, but after the prologue it skips to the beginning of the show. Also, since y/n is you, when he isn't there he won't know what's happening. Finally, I'm trying to balance giving y/n a spotlight while not taking too much away from the other characters, so you may find the first few chapters a bit slow. I expect y/n to be very fleshed out and a driving force in the story by the second book at the latest.
The ages and heights of everyone (during the main story) are below, provided from the best source I could find. However, I aged up the characters because it just feels weird not to.
Y/N: 17 years old, 6'0
Zuko: 17 years old, 5'10
Sokka: 16 years old, 5'9
Aang: 14/114 years old, 5'4
Katara: 16 years old, 5'6
Toph: 14 years old, 5'1
Azula: 16 years old, 5'7
Ty Lee: 16 years old, 5'5
Mai: 17 years old, 5'8
Ji (sister): 15 years old, 5'8
Personality: Y/N is a very duty-driven young man who cares first and foremost about his duty to his nation, people, and family (duty is to y/n as honor is to Zuko basically). Y/N is funny, especially when relaxed, but is often serious due to being constantly around war.
