Chapter 28: Battle Cry

(Set a few hours after the other team left...)
Ty's POV

I watched as all the recruits gathered on the hillside, all decorated in combinations of diamond, iron and butter armour all with the symbol of the Sky Army plastered on the back of their chest plates.

I smiled slightly, I couldn't believe how many recruits were willing to fight, it just showed how loyal they are.

Most of the generals stood in front of their own divisions, aside from the ones whose generals were out taking care of other tasks... Or weren't coming back...

I sighed and flew over to the front of the army, Jason sighed as well and landed next to me, his small floating helmets fluttering nervously next to his head, until he swatted them away with his hand out of annoyance.

All of the generals and recruits turned to look at us, I could see several of them whispering between each other, I guess not everyone had seen our appearances...

I turned and looked over at the hill, I could see the mobs slowly making their way over the hillside, slowly closing distance. If I looked closer I could see two figures leading them...

Herobrine, with Skybrine trailing close behind.

I felt my gaze harden and I turned to look out over all of our army again, at all of the grim, but determined faces I saw. I tried to ignore it, but I knew sadly that not all these bright faces would live to see the end of it all.

I took a deep breath and said loudly so hopefully they could all hear me "You are all the bravest, strongest, fiercest, most powerful army in Minecraftia. It doesn't matter how many mobs come at you, it doesn't matter how tired you get or how low your odds are. Fight bravely, fight passionately and have hope. We will win this battle and we will reclaim our leader." I raised my sword high in the air and shouted as loud as I could which, given the fact I could apparently roar like a dragon, was pretty loud "FOR THE SKY ARMY!!!!"

The entire army shouted in response, raising their weapons high in the sky, their voices carrying out across the soon to be battlefield.

I felt a tingling in my arm and looked at my sword, staring in amazement as black obsidian began to crawl it's way up the blade until my sword was an obsidian blade with a purple hilt and an Eye of Ender wedged in the hilt.

I brought the sword down and turned to Jason, he was looking at his now drawn sword as well, which was now a steel blade with a black obsidian hilt and two white diamonds in the shape of crossed bones now lay in the centre of the hilt.

Jason looked at me and smiled "This hybrid thing really does have its advantages." He said quietly.

I smiled and nodded before turning back to the army of mobs. I watched as Herobrine gave a sly smirk and raised his sword towards us.

All at once, all of the mobs cried out and began to charge towards us.

In retaliation, Jason took a deep breath and raised his sword high, shouting "FOR MINECRAFTIA!!!"

All of the Sky army joined in the cry and charged towards the army. Several recruits that had wings or magic, took to the sky to battle the ghasts and blazes while the others broke through the front line and began to slice, blast or shoot down the enemy.

Herobrine smirked and nodded at Skybrine, who smiled evilly and flew up into the air, high above all the ghasts, blazes and recruits.

I spread my wings and took to the sky, Jason shooting up next to me. We nodded at each other and took off, flying up until we were but a few meters away from Skybrine.

I noticed from the corner of my eye that Herobrine had flown up as well and was now floating a few meters behind us. Jason turned to face him so we were back to back, gripping our swords tightly.

"Well it's nice to finally meet you both, Enderlox and WitherMU..." I heard Herobrine say with a chuckle, causing Skybrine to smirk.

I tensed up at the names and felt Jason do the same "What the heck did he just call us?" Jason muttered to me.

I rolled my eyes and said "Clever word play Herobrine but you know why we're here."

"Oh of course I do... And I can see that some of your precious team aren't fighting below, going to retrieve my amulet I'm guessing..."

"Your Amulet?!" Jason growled, a wither bomb forming in his hand "That amulet belongs to Sky and you know it!"

I looked at Skybrine, seeing if he would give any reaction to Jason's remark, he just seemed to be looking at Jason and I, no doubt admiring our new hybrid looks.

Herobrine smirked "Oh he doesn't mind, do you Skybrine?"

Skybrine just smirked "Not at all..."

I really wanted to try and talk with him again, I wanted to try and convince him that this wasn't him, but I knew that it'd be useless without the amulet, the best we can do right now is what were there to do... Stall them...

Herobrine smirked "See? And I know that your planning to keep us occupied while your friends run their little errand, but it won't work, once your friends discover what their facing, they'll never leave the nether alive. Except for you dear sorcerer friend, oh my friend has plans for that..." He laughed.

I gripped my sword tighter, resisting the urge to turned around and claw the god's throat out. Keeping my eyes on my corrupted friend, which really wasn't helping my mood...

"Join me you two, with you and Skybrine under my command, we can rule all of Minecraftia... Your friends have no chance of surviving... You have no chance of surviving... This is a much better option..."

Skybrine smirked "Come on Guys, it can be the three of us again, just like old times. Only we'll be far more powerful, far more stronger than before..."

Jason growled angrily, a second wither bomb forming in his other hand. I glared at Skybrine, my anger at Herobrine for turning my best friend into a killing machine growing by the minute.

I turned to Jason slightly and muttered "You considering their option?" I asked him, hoping he was on the same page as me.

Jason growled again "I'd rather try Jerome's parmesan deodorant..."

I smirked "Then let's get them." Jason smiled and nodded.

And at that, we charged...

This took a while to think of...

I swear, writing the beginning of a battle like this is harder than it looks....

Yeah...

I think I successfully broke @fangirler816 when I talked to her about Seto...
