Bella's POV (This is set a day later...)

I sighed "Ok Ty. Let's try this one more time. Ok?"

He sighed and nodded, spreading his wings slowly and beginning to flap them, slowly rising up and trying to keep his balance in the air.

It's been a day since Ty and Jason had turned into hybrids and we had all left the temple after thanking Notch and Steve for the help. They had pointed us in the right way of the Team Crafted base and we were slowly heading back now.

At the moment we were just trying to help the boys get a grip on their new... Abilities...

Ty continued to flap his wings and didn't seem to be wobbling as much anymore "I think I'm getting the hang of this." He said, shakily.

"Remember! Your tail helps you with your balance and your steering!" Seto called out to him.

He nodded, practising different angles of flight and slowly starting to get used to life with wings and a tail, even if he still found it weird.

He eventually landed with a stumble "Ok, I need to work on landing..." He said.

I smiled and nodded "We better see how Jason's go-"

I was immediately cut of by the sound of a yelp and an explosion. Ty, Seto and I turned and ran to the sound of the explosion only to see Quentin and Mitch walking towards us, with Jason trailing behind.

Mitch seemed to be covered with branches, dirt and leaves and he smelt like smoke.

"Jason still needs to work on how to use his wither bombs..." Quentin said bluntly.

"I said I was sorry!" Jason called out, walking over to us, but careful not to touch anyone.

Jason's power was probably the hardest to control. Even as he walked over here, the grass around him withered and died, he practically gave off an aura of death, which he really didn't like.

Seto sighed and pulled out a pair gloves, giving them to him "I made them resistant to the withering effect so they should help..." He said.

Jason gave a small smile of thanks and put them on.

"We better get back to camp." I said, turning and walking back to the temporary campsite we'd made.

"Yeah, I need to get a bit cleaned up." Mitch chuckled.

When we got back to the campsite, I could see Jerome sharpening Betty with a rock and Ian was cooking some dinner.

Ian smiled "Hey, how'd practise go?"

Jerome looked at Mitch and smirked "I'm guessing Mitch had fun..."

Mitch glared at Jerome and then proceeded to chase him with some fish Ian had just cooked.

"Seriously?!" Ian called out.

"Hell yeah!" Mitch yelled back "Eat Vile Creatures Bacca!"

"No Pls! I Fan!" Jerome shouted, still running.

We all just laughed at the two, even Ty and Jason, which was a good thing.

Once the two had stopped, we all began to have some dinner, we talked for a bit, but it was clear the Ty and Jason weren't going to talk.

Ty just smiled occasionally when people looked at him but mainly focused on his raw steak. Since he was now a dragon hybrid, he had inquired a craving for raw meat, which clear disgusted him. Jason just fiddled with his apple.

I looked at them with worry, they may have been willing to change to save Adam, but it was clear they weren't the same. Then again, I've never really felt the same since in became a squid hybrid so I can relate.

It's hard to look and feel like something you're not.

It's hard to cope with it...

----------------------------------------------------
Really short crappy chapter I know....

I just wanted to show how Ty and Jason were dealing with being hybrids.

Things will pick up in the next chapter, I promise...
