Chapter 23: Taken

Holy fudge..... I just checked my Profile and discovered that I have over 100 followers......

I mean....

HOLY FUDGE..... I JUST CHECKED MY PROFILE AND DISCOVERED THAT I HAVE OVER 100 FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitch's POV

Everyone was beginning to turn in for the night, sleeping in small wooden huts fit for one or two people. Ian and Quentin were in one, Bella and Seto were in another, while Ty and Jason slept in their own.

Jerome and I were together in one but I couldn't sleep, I had too much on my mind, well that and Jerome was snoring really loudly.

I sighed and eventually walked out of the hut. I could see the last dying embers of the campfire but I could still see fine. There were no mobs around which I was thankful for, so I just sat by the dying fire, watching the embers.

So much had happened over the past few days that it made my head hurt to think about. First Sky had become Skybrine, then we were almost killed by him and lost Tyler and Ant, then we had to face out fears, still haven't gotten over that by the way.... And now Ty and Jason were Hybrids...

What more could be thrown at us?

I heard a rustle and turned to see Bella walking over to me "Hey..." She said quietly "Couldn't sleep?"

I scoffed "Could you?"

Bella sighed and sat next to me "No I guess not...

I looked back at the embers saying nothing.

Bella sighed again and looked at the sky "The stars are so bright tonight."

I gave a small smile and nodded, looking up at the sky. "Yeah... They are."

Bella looked at me "Are you ok Mitch?" She asked

I sighed and shook my head "So much has happened... It's just a lot to take in."

Bella nodded "That's understandable... We have gone through a lot." She shivered slightly "I'm still freaked out from my fear...

I nodded "I can relate to that..." I muttered.

We sat there in an awkward silence for a moment before Bella asked "What was your fear?"

I paused, wondering if I should tell her or not, I mean, she did tell me about her life back at the base.... I sighed and thought 'Why not?' And told her what happened in my fear.

When I was done she said nothing for a while then asked "You really care about Jerome don't you?"

I nodded "He's my best friend, practically my brother, loosing him is something I couldn't stand, frankly, I couldn't stand to loose anyone..."

Bella nodded "Me either. Herobrine gave me a choice to join him in my fear, you wer- you guys were the reason I refused..."

I smiled at her, before the sound of a small twig snapping made me freeze.

Bella seemed to notice my change in mood, she frowned and asked "What's wrong?"

"Shh!" I whispered at her, getting up and drawing my sword as I looked around "Where not alone..."

A chuckle fills my ears and a familiar voice says "You got that right Mitch."

Two glowing white eyes appear in the shadows and Skybrine walks out, smiling evilly.

Bella gets up quickly and draws her bow, taking aim at him while I glared at him, raising my sword in defence.

Skybrine just smirked at us "Well sorry to interrupt your date, but Bella is needed elsewhere."

"It's not a date, we were just talking." I growled at him "And for the last time, your not getting anywhere near her!"

Skybrine chuckled again, taking a step forward "It's cute how you think you're going to win Mitch."

Bella instinctive fired her arrow at him.

Sky caught the arrow and smirked "Not this time sweetie." He said throwing it back at her at such a force that it pieced her leg, causing her to cry out and fall to the ground.

Before I could register what had just happened, I felt a huge shove and I fell back onto the embers of the fire causing me to howl in pain and I found myself pinned to the ground with Skybrine's sword at my throat.

"Wow Mitch, you really need to work on your reflexes. Then again, you won't really need them in the Aether will you?"

I struggled against him, the embers burning through my shirt and into my back, but he just laughed bringing the sword closer, "Say goodbye Mit-"

"STOP!!!" Bella yelled from where she was, causing both Skybrine and I to look at her.

She panted as she tried to stand up, "I'll- I'll go with you. Just... Don't kill him..." She said hoarsely.

Skybrine smirked "Deal, just one more thing..." He said, turning back to me before driving the sword into my shoulder, causing me to scream in pain. 'Great now I had a burnt back and a sword wound...'

Bella yelped and tried to run over to me, but Skybrine stood up and grabbed her arms "That should draw a crowd..." He said with a smirk before he and Bella disappeared in a puff of white smoke.

I breathed heavily as I heard doors beginning to open, footsteps, yelling and Jerome shouting "Biggums!!"

The last thing I saw was Jerome and Seto pulling me off the fire before my world was plunged into darkness.

Well that's understandable.......

Sorry this took so long to come out, I've had a a lot going on with Christmas and New Years.... Totally not because I'm addicted to Rune Factory 2... hehe what would give you that idea? *sweats nervously*

Although, honestly I just did not know how to write the first part.... I NO INTERESTED IN LOVEY DOVEY STUFF!!!!! DONT JUDGE ME!!!!!!!!!

But I did have fun with the second part....

.... Dear God, I just realised that one of the ship names for Bella and Mitch could be B***h .................. Your welcome Bloxie......
