[Ch 15] At Thier own pace

                             Kiri pov.

"Hey Jake what do you wanna do today?" I asked looking over at him. We we're both in our swim wear lying on the lounge chairs. I mean after being on their cruise for three weeks now we low key run out of things to do.

"I don't know....oh i got it let's go take a buch of pictures down at the aquarium like thingy place" he said. "Actually that sounds like fun" I Chirped.

We went down stopping at our rooms to change into proper clothes. I settled for jean shorts with a black crop top. He just had shorts and tank top it's all the guy has been wearing for the past three weeks.

"Well let's go" we walked down and took a bunch of pictures first he took some for me and I rooms some for him then we took a buch together and sat there posting them before spending some time just admiring the fish.

Maybe if I wasn't completely head over heels for Kat I might have actually fallen for him. "Hey Jake do you know when exactly this cruises thing ends?" I asked. "Yea next week Thursday"

"When we get back we should have another one of those double dates it's been a while" Jake said looking over at me.

"Yes it has but we'll actually be heading to the beach the Friday after we get back so maybe sometime after that" I said smiling. "Yes definitely actually now that we're here I need you opinion on something"

"Go ahead" I said putting my hand on the glass where an orange and black fish swam by. "Right so I know Katie ask for you opinion about that to so with her whole dad wanting her to move thing"

I just hummed letting him continue. "Well the apartment idea was a great idea but I wanted to ask her if she'd want to stay with me instead do you think she'd think I'm being clingy or moving to fast?" He asked.

"Well knowing Katie she'd be super happy but I feel like she'd deny saying she wouldn't want to intrude......" I trailed off. "Yea ok if it was you how would you react if Baku wanted you to live with him?"

"Honestly I'd be beyond the moon but not going to lie I feel like it'd be akward living with him and his parents. Also probably feel selfish when I could just go with my dad" I responded.

"Yes I get you, hopefully she finds an apartment close to my place or something so we can still walk to school together and all"

There was a moment of silence but it was nice comftable silence.  Before there was an a announcement saying dinner was starting We headed upstairs to the main dining hall where we split to each go sit with our family.

I joined the table seeing between Dad and Auntie Cally. We chatted about or day and everything kinda bummed about how the cruise was coming to an end.

After dinner I face timed Suki as usual. "Hey i said waving to him and he waved back from the other side of my laptop screen.

"Hey Kiri" Kaiso said popping into view. "Hey Kaiso how's the going?" I asked. "Cool staying at Katsuki's is way more fun than my house" she said crossing her arms.

"I double that" Aku said spearing besides her. "I triple that also Hi Kiri" Saisa said cling in behind Suki.

"Hey guys I totally wish I could come hung out with you guys" I sighed. "Yea me too your boyfriend's a bummer" Aku said sticking his going out to Suki.

"Oh fuck off let me talk to MY girlfriend in peace" he hissed shooing them them away I heard laughing and a door close.

"Anyway how are you?" He asked settling back down. "I'm alright you?" I smiled. "Eh about to blow this house up" he shrugged with a laugh.
