[ch 4.] ment to be together

                           Kat pov.
   (It's been one month since the cuddling and sleepover)

I never brought up the thing with Kiri from months ago. We became closer even though it hurt since I can tell her my feelings. we'd also spend a lot more time together and she didn't seem to like talking about her soulmate that much.

Either way I was happy for her I guess.But something just always made me feel jealous  made me wish it was me. I was sitting in the common room with the squad. Since it was the weekend some of our classmates went home others to the mall and some were just in their room.

"Hi" I looked around to see how said that. "Blasty you ok?" Mina asked. "Did you guys not hear someone greet us?" I asked.

"Helloooo"

"There it is again" I said looking around. They all looked at me like I was crazy. "This better not be another prank" I sighed. "No it's not I swear"

Then Pinky's face lit up. "IT'S YOUR SOULMATE" She shouted so loud I'm sure the others probably heard her from the mall.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that crap" I said leaning back. "Well talk to them" Mina said excitedly. "Ok ok"

Baku-"Hi"
"Omg hi my soulmate"

Baku-"So you finally turned sixteen"

"Yea anyway first what should I call you?"

Baku- "Um I don't know call me whatever"

Blue-"Oh ok you can call me Blue"
"Ok blue"

Blue-"So your a guy or?"

Baku-"Yea I am what about you?"

Blue-"Female"

Baku-"Cool so-"

I was cut off by pinky. "Well?" They all looked at me except Kiri who just looked at Mina. "Well it's a girl and she wanted me to call her blue".I said.

"Anything else?" Sero said looking at me. "Well I was talking to her before you cut me off'" I sneered glaring at Mina. "Oh sorry go on we'll continue the movie.

"Sorry my friends distracted me" I don't know why but I just felt the need to be nice to her the only other person I try to be nice to is Kiri.

"Ok it's ok so tell me about yourself like things you like"

We talked for hours. I found out she an only child she also likes spicy food and sports. Like me. I was able to find out she's in the same city as me so that's a start. We had a lot of things together but I didn't feel like I liked her in that way. I'll just give it time we just met after all.

                 (Two weeks later)

Ever since I began talking to Blue Kiri had become super distant like she only walked to school with me twice in the whole two weeks and  both of those times she didn't talk our make jokes and I wasn't sure what do because she usually starts to conversation.

The thing I didn't tell anyone was me and blue agreed to just be friends because as much as we had in common neither of us could picture ourselves together.

I told her about Kiri and She told me she's in love with this guy and we gave him the nickname Pineapple and Kiri was Cherry. We tried our best both of us being so un-creative it's the best we could come up with. She called me orange so.

She said she got the idea blue because pineappls's soulmate called herself Red. We even did research on soulmates together. I sat on my bed criss cross with my laptop on my laps.

Blue-"Ok so we just need to find out if you can change who your soulmate is"

Baku-"Yea yes I get it blue"

We talked for hours scrolling when there was a knock on my door.

Baku-"Ok wait there's someone at my door"

Blue- "Ohhh maybe it's cherry"

I Got out of my bed and made my way to the door opening it slightly.

Baku-"Yep it's her"

Blue-"Called it"

I laughed and Kiri gave me a questioning look. "Oh sorry I was laughing because of Blue need anything?" I asked opening the door wider so she should come in.

"Well the squad is going out for lunch and I was wondering if you'd wanna tag along". I thought about it I really wanted to go but I couldn't just bail on blue because if we did find something maybe just maybe I could end up with Kiri.

"No sorry me and Blue had something planned next time though" I said. She looked a little bummed out. "Oh ok you two have fun" she said exiting the room.

I sat back down.

Baku-"Ok let's do this"

Blue-"First of all what happened with Cherry"

Baku-"Oh she was just inviting me to join her and the rest of the squad for lunch"

Blue-"Dude you should have gone"

Baku-"No this is important now let's finish this aren't you supposed to be hanging out with pineapple today evening?"

Blue-"Yea yea ok"

We talked and did out 'research' for hours making jokes and everything but didn't find anything useful at all. Soon she had to go I wished her good luck before she left.

                            Kiri pov.
We got back kind of late and I decided to go check on Bakugo before going to bed. I knocked on his door after not getting an answer I opened it to see him passed out on his bed his laptop still opened.

I shut it putting it on the desk as I pulled the blanket from under him and draped it on him. I looked at him he looked so peaceful and calm. I definitely still had feelings for him but I can't really do anything now can I?

I mean he and 'Blue seem so happy together and he talked about a lot. They even make plans together and haven't met. I know I have my own soulmate but I don't really feel anything special like I do with Kat.

I mean we talk a lot too and have some things in common but maybe it's just because I haven't met him.

Kiri- "Hey"

Haze-"Oh hi"

Kiri- "So I was wondering.....you don't really feel anything between us right?"

Haze- "Yea I don't I didn't want it bring it up because I thought it would hurt you"

Kiri-"Nah I'm just glad we're on the same page."

Haze-  "Now that we got that our of the way let's just be friends ya?"

Kiri-"Yea that'd be cool"

I smiled as I flobbed down on my bed and my mind drifted off to Baku again I couldn't stop thinking about him but I bet he's dreaming about her.

I admit I felt kind of sad that Baku hit it off with his soulmate but I guess they are made for eachother. Right

soulmates are meant to be together.
