[39] The Promise

    (Back to when she was talking with the gods)

"Before you go I have some things I'd like us to discuss"

I looked at life. "Sure" I mean it's not like I had much of a choice either way. "Good come with me" I followed her out of the room and into a long hallway.

"Now before you go though you have to keep you cool ok kid" Death said. I could only nod then he opened the door.

There was a huge table and a buch of chairs around it. In one of those chairs was Masura Katsuki's dad.

"Hello Ejira" he gently smiled. I sat in the seat life ushured me to. "Wait are you still....um alive?" I asked. "No he's dead but requested to come speak with you once he knew you we're here" Life said taking a seat next to me. "This is only his soul just in the form of his body" She added.

"Yes exactly now I understand we don't have much time" he began looking at death who simply nodded. "So I'm going to go straight to the point" he finshed. "Wait can you bring Katuki or Mitsuki here instead of me they'd want to see you again" I looked at life who shook her head. "Sorry no can do" I only sighed and looked back at Katsuki's dad.

"Now I want you to make me a promise" I raised an eyebrow "sure what promise?" I asked. "I want you to please take good care of my family for me." I bit my lip and nodded. "Was already planning to do it"

"That's good. Thank you" He bowed his head slightly. "Oh no no don't thank me I'm doing it because I care about them too" I smiled gently.

"Times up Ejira you have to leave the boy is waking up" Right. I only nodded. "Goodbye Masura I promise to keep my word" then I was back at the kitchen. I quickly filled the bowl with curry. "Oh you're awake...."

[Bskc to the present. When she got back]

I shut the door with my foot the groceries I'd picked for us earlier in my hands. "Suki I'm back" I tried not to be too loud incase he was sleeping. I saw the bedroom lights on so I set the bags down and took off my shoes the went done the hall.

I peaked thought the door to see a bundle of blankets on the bed cuddled up into a ball. I smiled softly and crept over to the bed.

I pretended to be asleep not wanting to face my girlfriend right now. I was an ass to her and then didn't even apologize and she was still so nice to me.

I felt her slowly make her way to the side of the bed standing on the edge where my back was. Then she leaned over me her hair gently ticking my face. Then felt her soft lips gently kiss my cheek.

The she went around the bed and I peaked to see her changing then left and switched of all the other lights and come back seating in the bed next to me as I went back to my fake sleep.

"I love you Suki I just hope I can help you go though this I know it's tough on you" I felt her hand gently stoked my cheek where her lips previously were.

I felt so fucking guilty I couldn't take it anymore. More tears slipped from my eyes followed by sobs. My dad was dead I didn't get to say goodbye. I was an ass to my girlfriend yet she's still here.

"I-im sorry Princess" she looked shocked but cuddled up next to me stoking my hair. "Hey hey Suki it's ok you have nothing to apologise for" she said soothingly.  As much as I wanted to believe her.

"That's a lie and you know it" I was angry. At myself for all I said and how I acted but also at her for knowing I hurt her but putting my dumb feelings first.

"- I was an asshole to you I shouted at you for something you didn't even do. You were trying to make me feel better and I hurt you with the things I said"

She ran her fingers thought my hair. "I know I know but your hurting ok. I know it didn't give you the right" she murmered. "I'm really sorry" I said.

"It's ok Suki I forgave you a long time ago now please relax you've had a long day" I felt her fingers twirl in my hair. "How about we get some sleep yea?" She asked her voice was soft and soothing.

"Mk I love you and I'm really sorry" I said curling into a ball and cuddling close to her. "It's ok and I love you too" she said also moving closer to me and putting her head on mine.

"I love you" I murmered as I fell asleep. I smiled when I felt her smile too and kiss my forehead.
