Flash back to elementary school

It was recess time and I decided to go join the other kids at the playground. As I was skipping towards the slide some slightly older kids came up to me.

"Look it's the girl who doesn't have a mom" one of the kids yelled laughing. The others also began laughing. A girl who had blue hair came up to me and pushed me. I fell and landed on the concrete.

My black hair fell over my face hidding the tears I was trying my best to hold back. They just laughed at me. "What are you going to do tell your mom?"the third one who had orange hair laughed.

I let the tears fall from from my eyes. "Awww look you made her cry" they teased. "Hey guys you shouldn't bully her for not having a mom" a small sqecky voice said. I looked to see a girl maybe around my age. She had pale skin and golden hair in two bun on the top of her head.

Behind here we're two boys. One with black hair and many scars and another with blue hair and ashy pale skin. The girl skipped up to me and took my hand pulling me up.

"Thank you" I mumrumered. "No problem what's your name?" She asked. "I'm Ejira" I responded. "Cool I'm Toga and this is Dabi and Shigaraki" she said pointing to the two boys behind her. They both just waved.

"Come let's go to the slide" she grabbed my hand pulling me along. As the two followed behind us. Did I finally make some friends?

                          Middle school

"Hey Ejira" Dabi said swinging his arm over my shoulder. I just pressed my lips together looking down. "You know it's rude not to greet people back" Shigaraki said appearing on my other side.

"Yea you are our best friend after all huh?" Toga skipped ahead of us. "Come on Ejira the rest are waiting for us" Dabi smirked ruffling my hair.

"I have to go home early" I lied trying to pry Dabi's hand off me. Ever since that day in elementary we'd become good friends. But they'd changed.

They started cheating and bullying some kids. They also shoplifted and drank, smoked. I just wasn't comfortable around them anymore. If I wanted to go to U.A. I can't become like them.

"Don't be like that I'm sure your dad's will understand that your friends needed you" Shigaraki smirked.

"Yes let's go" Toga pulled my hand making me stumble behind her as she skipped at a suprisingly fast pace.

They pulled me into a pretty worn our building. "Hey twice" Toga greeted a boy who looked like he was already in highschool. " Hey Toga, Dabi, Shigaraki....who's this?" He asked looking at me.

"I don't know but she's cute" a guy with green hair said. He was seated next to the twice guy. "Shut is Spiner" Dabi said moving from behind us to the couch. "This is Ejira my best friend" Toga smiled.

I just kept silent looking at the ground. "Oh this is Ejira we've heard a lot about you" the twice guy said. I just looked at him and back at the ground. "Does she not talk?" Spiner asked.

"She does she's just shy" Shigaraki elbowed me slightly. "Yea come on we won't hurt you" Spiner said from the couch. "Umm can I go now I have lots of work to do"

"Come on don't be a party popper" Toga pulled me to the couch. "Yea here one" Dabi tossed me a beer. "I-I don't drink" I said trying to hand it back to him.

"Come on it's fun" I didn't want to seem like I a party popper. "It's just once it won't hurt me" I mumrumered to myself before opening the can. I took a sip of it and imediately cringed at the taste.

"Don't worry it takes some getting used to" Dabi pat my back. "Yea cheeres" Toga said hitting hers against mine. "Mhmm" I took a huge gulp.

[Time skip]

"EJIRA. EJIRA." I heard the other chant my name over and over as I downed another bottle. "Whoo" I slammed it down on the table. "Guys let's go to the roof" a clearly drunk Spiner suggested.

The rest of us just as drunk all agree and began heading to the roof. Once we got there we sat at the edge looking over the city. Dabi and Spiner began smoking.

I wasn't really drunk I just had three cans but it was my first time so I was a bit dizzy.

"Hey what are you kids doing up here" We heard someone ask from behind us. I turned to see a man in a police uniform. "Shit" I heard Twice murmer from besides me.

"All of you stand up and put your hands behind your head" he shouted. "We all slowly stood up" he began walking towards us. "Guys we need to run" Shigaraki wispered.

I my head was spinning. I obviously wasn't in the right state of mind none of us were. We were a bunch of drunk thirteen year olds on a roof caught by the cops what could go wrong?

When he got closer Twice hit him in the stomach making him drop his hand cuffs. Before I could even comprehend what happened Dabi had him pinned to the floor. "Ejira pass me the cuffs" Shigaraki said.

I looked to see them at my feet. I bend down picking them up. "Here" I tossed them to him. "Guys what are we going to do?" I asked looking at thean stuffing against Dabi, Twice and Spiner.

Then Toga hit his head against the concrete multiple times. I watched in horror as he began bleeding. "Is he dead?" I asked looking at the man. "Of course he is" Shigaraki said as if it was such a normal thing.  They just killed a man. And I witnessed it. I didn't stop them. I did't do anything.

[Time skip]

"Guys are you going to go confess to what you did?" I asked them. It had been like two weeks since then. "Of course not plus you know you'll go to jail too" Spiner said.

"What me?" I asked. "Mhmm you were an acomplise in murder" Dabi said as if it was a casual conversation. I I'm a murderer I killed someone.

I Ejira Kirishima killed someone......

"So what happens after that argument?" Suki asked. We'd stopped and sat on a bench at a nearby park. "Well I knew it would ruin my chances at U.A. but I still told the cops...." It railed off. He just sqeezed my hand and let me continue.

"Apparently Dabi's dad was rich so he paid some money and all we had to do was community work plus our records we're clear" I sighed feeling tears in my eyes.

"Please don't hate me" I sniffed. He quickly pulled me into his arms my head leaned on his chest as I listened to his heartbeat and his hand ran though my hair. "I could never, ever hate you...and I'm glad you could tell me about it" he said soothingly.

"After that they swore to make my life a living hell so we moved away and in my third year of middle school at my new school I met Mina" I said now that I knew he didn't hate me I felt like telling him everything it felt good to just vent after it was eating me up for all these years.

Kaite- are you guys back yet?

Kiri- we we're heading back why?

Jake- the league...

Baku- what about them?

Kaite-they we're caught in an old bar just by the hotel but they we're arrested.

Kiri- we're on our way back now meet you guys there

He stood up and pulled me up after him. Then let go of our hands and cupped my face. I smiled and giggled as he kissed my forehead then wiped my tears with his thumbs. "Let's go then" he grabbed my hand again and we began walking back to the hotel.
