[Ch 17] Dinner

                            Kiri pov.

"Thanks for having us over" Papa smiled at Kat's mom. "Oh it's nothing come in"  she smiled back opening the door wider. "Here you go Mrs. Bakugo" I smiled handing her the gift bag.

"Thanks Ejira and please just call me Mitsuki all of you" She took it and walked into the kitchen. "Katsuki the Kirishima's are here" she shouted up the stairs.

I heard footsteps and soon an ash blond appeared at the bottom. His hair was flat on one side and he looked so tired and cute. "Hey Mr. And Mr. Kirishima it's good to see you again" he murmured a little obviously still sleeping.

"Good to see you to Katsuki" dad said as papa nodded with a smile. "Sorry I just woke up from a nap" he said rubbing his cheek. "Yea Katsuki here was up until five am watching tv" his mom laughed and led my dad's into the dining room.

"Five am huh?" I moved closer and reached my hand up fixing his hair. "Mhmmm" he leaned down and kissed me I giggled a little and felt him smirk. "Come one Suki let's go"

I grabbed his hand leading him to the dinning room.The table was set so we took our seats and I listened to dad and Mr. Bakugo's conversation.

"I mean the roosters dominanted that game it was obvious they'd win from the end of the first half." Mr. Bakugo said. "Yea I mean the Bulls really lost their grove towards the end of the half"

Then i turned listening to papa and Mrs. Ba- Mitsuki.

"Actually I found out adding butter makes it smoother and easier to mix" papa said. "Oh really? I'll keep that in mind actually it'd be a big help it always sticks to the bowl and it's so hard to get off" She sighed. "Been there" They both just laughed.

I felt a hand on my thigh and Turned to Suki. "Hey Pumpkin you ok?" He asked. "Mhm yes I was just thinking about how happy I am that our families get along" I giggled leaning towards him. "Me too"

"Hey Ejira are you exited about going to third year?" Misuki asked passing me the salad. "I guess I'm pretty excited I'm totally gonna make the best of it" I smiled putting some onto my plate and passing it to Suki.

"That's great have you started thinking about collage and stuff?" I notice Suki scowl a little at he question. "I mean not really. I know I want to do, art and design but haven't chosen a collage"

"What about you Katuski?" Papa asked him. "I want to do culinary arts" he responded. "Thats amazing" Dad said. "Yea I'm going to be the best".

We didn't really talk about what would happen after graduating. Would we end up on different sides of the world? Would we break up?

"Ejira" My head snapped towards Suki who was givinge a worried glance. "I'm fine" I said knowing what he was going to ask. "Ok" I knew by the look in his eyes he didn't buy it but he shrugged it off.

We talked more and more and once we were done I helped Mitsuki with clearing the table and washing the dishes no matter how many times she insisted I didn't have to.

Once we were done I sat next to Suki on the couch. We we're all wrapped up in talking and everything we didn't notice time flying by.

"Oh look at the time we should get going" Dad said looking at the watch on his wrist. I checked on my phone it read 10:56.

"Yes thanks for having us over it was lovely" Papa was already on his feet shaking their hands. "Our pleasure come over again sometime" Mitsuki smiled. "Oh next time it'd be our turn to host" Dad smiled.

"Thank you for the dinner it was delicious" I hugged the two and kissed Suki before following my dad's out of the door.

[Time skip]                         
                          
"Hey peble me and your dad will be traveling tommorow but we'll be back before you have to go back to school" Papa said once we got home.

"Oh when you do leave?" I asked taking off my shoes. "The day after tommorow but you can invite Mina or Katsuki over if you'd like" Dad smiled.

Papa kissed my forehead then dad as the went upstairs saying goodnight. I went up to my room and laid on my bed.

My dad's traveled a lot both for work or just to enjoy like anniversaries and stuff but they we're still both very active in my life. I mean out of all sixteen years dad had only missed one birthday and papa so far hadn't missed a single one.

Maybe I'll invite Suki over for the week. What is we end up doing it..... Ejira stop. No no I'll invite him over and if it happens it happens y'know.

Kiri- Hey you up?

Baku- yea I can't sleep now.

Kiri-So my dad's are traveling again wanna spend the week with me here?

Baku- Sure pumpkin when?

Kiri-The day after tomorrow.

Baku-Yea see you Friday but get some sleep ok?

Kiri-Yea yea goodnight I love you

Baku-I love you too..... goodnight.

I flipped over and stared at the ceiling. If we we're to end up doing it we'd need protection right. I mean I'm not trying to become a mom right now. But like..... I'll call Mina. I picked up my phone and called her.

"Hey Kiri it's 11:00 pm"

"Don't act like you were sleeping I know about your late night James Charles makeup toturial binge" I laughed. "Ok ok you got me so what's up?" She asked. "Well umm if I were to end up doing it with Su-" i was cut off by a series of sqeels from the other side of my phone.

"Ok as i was saying we'd need like protection and stuff right..." I trailed off.  "Mhmm so you need condoms?" She asked. I turned red from embarrassment. "Well I don't know if it will happen but you know better safe than being a teen mom"

"Ok I'll get you some if you'd like" I breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks Mina your the best" She giggled. "Mhmm but you gotta tell me if you actually do it" I nodded forgeting she can't see me. "Yes yes ok I know you wanna get back to your youtube so g'night thanks again"

"Goodnight Kiri and don't mention it" she hug up and I feel back onto my bed. Thank God Mina is Mina because if that was anyone else it'd have been so akward I'd be six feet under by now.

Well I guess we'll find out if it was worth it next week.
