Chapter 5

Spencer's pov

I woke up pretty early with my phone ringing. I looked over and saw that Emily was calling me. Why was Emily calling me at 6:45 in the morning!? I was questioning.

"Hello?" I asked in a tired voice.

"Hey Spencer, hows Jayje doing?" Emily aksed wide awake. It sounded like she had like 3 or 4 cups of coffee.

"Uh, shes doing good? I guess." I said confused.

"Did JJ ever tell you what happened?" She asked into the phone.

"Um no? Do you know what's going on?" At this point I was very confused.

"Yes, I know." She stops then continues and explains what happened. "Will cheated on Jen with some women named Zoe, JJ hasn't taken it well.." she stopped to get my reaction

What the hell!? Why didnt she tell me!? I was confused and a little hurt...

"What?" I say confused. "I need to go talk to JJ." I say hanging up the phone.

I went down stairs to see JJ and Henry playing with his toys. I went up to JJ and patted her shoulder.

JJs pov
I was downstairs with Henry playing with his toys, then i feel Spencer put his hand on my shoulder.

"JJ." He began. "Why the hell didnt you tell me about Will?"

"Spence, I'm sorry." A tear rolled down my cheek. "Spence, I wasnt ready ok!?"

"But you told Emily!?" His voice got louder and I got closer to Henry.

"She was there Spencer!" My voice started to break. "I'm sorry! Ok!?"

"Mommy..." Henry said looking up at me.

Henry didnt like yelling. He remembers when Will would yell at me if I didnt text him, or when I got home from and he was drunk. It scared Henry a lot.

"Its ok baby." I said with tears in my eye. "Spence, stop! Henry is scared and I'm doing ok! Why do you even care!?"

Spencer looked right into my eyes. "Why do I care!? Jennifer I care because I love you! I always have!" Spencer began to cry.

I looked back at my son then Spence, I was overwhelmed. I didnt know what to do. I was confused. What the hell just happened!? That just kept repeating in my head. I took Henry and ran upstairs to the room we were staying in and locked ourselves in there. I needed time to think. What do I do?

"Mommy? Are you ok?" Henry asked me.

"Yeah baby, I'm ok. I'm ok." I said reassuring in.

I knew Spencer could hear me talking so I lowered my voice so he couldnt. I dont know what was happening. Hes in love with me! I used to really like Spence, but now I'm in love with Emily. I've been in love with her for years.. my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I ask as I answered.

"Hey Jen, you ok?" I could tell it was Emily.

Yeah Em, I'm fine." I lied. I was confused. I heard Spencer coming up the stairs. "Sorry Em, I gotta go." I say hanging up the phone.

"Hey.. you ok?" He asked knocking on the door.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I answer quickly.

"JJ please talk to me.." he finally says.

"I- I can't. Not right now. I need time." I said starting to tear up.

"Fine, but first thing tomorrow morning we need to talk." With that he walked off to his bedroom.

I got Henry ready for bed and we both jumped in bed and went to sleep. Henry cuddled right up next to me and I held him while he slept.
