chapter 17

Me and JJ decided to go back to my place and talk. I went to make Coffee because i needed it.

"Emily, you dont need to make coffee." JJ said with a small laugh.

"I need this JJ." I say.

Once the coffee was done i poured it into two cups and handing one to JJ.

"Thank you." She says with a small smile. "Um. I guess i will go first." She took a deap breath. "Em, to be honest i like you since i met you, i just didnt know if you liked me then so much stuff had happened. Like everything with Spence, my self harm, but i am getting better and thats all because of you, Em." She smiled. "I like you a lot and would live to be with you."

Hearing what JJ had just said made my heart jump, i was so happy that JJ felt that way.

"JJ, i felt the exact same way the day i met you, and i want to be with you, but if we do this, what will the rest of the team say? What will Hotch say?" I asked.

JJ just looked at me.

"Em, the whole team already knows your gay, and they all support you, It'll be fine. Plus they already know we like eachother."

She was right.

"You're right. So Jennifer Jareau will you go on a date with me?" I asked with a smile. A huge smile appeared on JJs face.

"Of course i will Emily Prentiss!" She yelled.

"Okay, this Friday I'll pick you up at 6:30."

That night ended so well, i was excited to go on a date with JJ. I mean who wouldnt.

JJ left shortly after and i went to go lay in bed, i tried to get some sleep, but i couldnt stop thinking about our conversation.

The next morning i woke up at 7:30 and decided to call Garcia. I basically tell her everything, shes the one person, besides JJ, i turst fully.

"Hey Em, whats up?" She asked.

"I just woke up, but i have something to tell you!" I say out of excitment.

"Oh my god is it something about JJ!?" How did she know?

"How'd you know?" I asked confused.

"Oh come on we all know you two loved eachother before, and we can still see how much you guys love eachother now."

She was right, i did truly love JJ.

"Well the answer is yes, i asked her out on a date this Friday." I say.

"Oh my god yayy!!" Garcia squealed into the phone.

That made me laugh. I was happy that Garcia was happy for me and JJ. Now all i needed to do was figure out where we were going on friday.

One week later on Friday.

It is 5:30 on Friday and i was still trying to figure out what to wear. I had to be at JJs in an hour to pick her up.

I finally got dressed and decided to wear and i settled on with a red dress with some black heels. I curled my hair and did my makeup then i was out the door heading to JJs.

When i got to JJ and when JJ opened the door she looked stunning. She was wearing a baby blue dress with some heels.

"Wow." I say. "You look beautiful."

"Em stop, so do you!" JJ says checking me out.

All i could do was smile, i really didn't know what else to say. All i knew is that i was excited to be out on a date with JJ.

We decided to go to a small restaurant, that was farely new to eat.

"Oh my god this is so cute!" JJ said as we walked inside.

"It is isnt it."

We walked inside and waited to be seated.

"Are you two ready to be seated?" A waiter told us.

"Yes, just a table for 2." I say.

"Okay, right this way." She says leading us to the table. "My name is Ashley and i will be your server."

Ashley left our table to give us time to think about what to get.

"What are you getting Emily?" JJ asked me.

"Thinking maybe chicken? I honestly dont know." I laughed.

"Well the chicken does sound good." JJ says.

That is what JJ and I both got with some water and some mash potatoes as well. It was actually really good.

"This is so good." I say with a smile.

"It really is." JJ agreed.

JJ and I ate for about and hour before leaving because i had a suprise for JJ.

"Come on lets go!" I say as we both walked out of the restaurant and into my car.

"Em, where are we going?" She asked.

"Its a suprise." I say with a smile.

We drove for about 20 minutes before getting to the park, it was a beautiful night plus there was a pond that made everything better.

"Come on JJ lets go!" I yelled getting out of tue car.

"Okay okay, but where!"

I just laughed and ran off to the pond as JJ followed. I could hear her laughing behind me.

"What are we doing!?" JJ yells as i stopped in front of the pond. It was beautiful.

"Well JJ, I'm about to throw you into the water!" Iaughed picking her up.

"Emily Prentiss! Don't you dare!" JJ yelled kicking her leggs up and down.

I didn't listen to her an threw her in anyways.

"Oops." I say sarcastically as i jump in after her.

"Ugh, i will get you back!" JJ yells splashing me with water.

Me and JJ were just having a good time, laughing, splashing eachother until it started to get really late.

"Hey Em, we should get going." JJ says about to get out of the water.

"Hey wait!" I yelled.

I grabbed JJ and turned her around to face me. I then looked at JJ and kissed her, she kissed me back.

After that JJ smiled and we both got out of the water and started to dry off. JJ was still pissed at me.

"Ugh Emily!" JJ rolled her eyes. "I hate being in wet clothes."

"Well then you're in luck, i have some extra clothes in the back of my car, you can have some." I say with a smile.

"Thank you."

Me and JJ went back to my car and we both got dressed into dry clothes. I drove JJ home.

"Bye, I'll talk to you tomorrow." I say giving a kiss to JJ.

"Bye Em." JJ says.

JJ walked inside her house and i drove away, heading back to my place. I knew Penelope would want to hear about this, but i decided I would call her in the morning.

I couldn't sleep, i was over the moon on what had happened that night. I went on a date with JJ and i couldn't sleep because of that.

A/N: I'm so sorry that i hadn't updated in a while, but here it is. Finally the chapter of JJ and Emily going on a date. This chapter is a bit shorter then the others, but i hope you liked it.

I would love it if you gave me feedback, again sorry that is chapter took a long time to write, i went camping and im still in school and doing cheer, but im hoping i can update again soon.
