Mikhail woke up with a headache. He was dizzy and his eyes were hurting. He cursed as he gently sat up in bed. He rubbed his eyes, trying to push away this weird sensation. He hadn't felt anything in his eyes for two years. His heart raced as he registered that thought. Maybe his vision was back? He opened his eyes cautiously. Still pure blackness. His heart sunk as his hope crashed.
He heard two pair of tiny feet running toward the bed and he smiled. Manuelito jumped on the bed and threw his arms around him while Juan sat on the bed next to them."Good morning!" the boys exclaimed.
"Good morning", he replied, chuckling at their joyful tone, "why are you up so early?"
"You woke up late. It's already noon", Juan tsked.
He had his best night sleep without his medicine yesterday. He was amazed as there were no nightmares or sleep interruption. He slept peaceful and he knew it was because of her. His gentle yet strong psy.
"You should call her", Juan said.
"How did you know I was thinking about her?"
"You always smile when you think about Sofia", Manuelito giggled.
Mikhail grabbed the two boys and started to tickle them. Their laughter filled the room. His mind wondered towards the child that he lost- his laughter would have filled his life too.
"I love you, Mikhail", Many said, his innocent voice piercing his sadness.
Juan did not say anything but he knew he was thinking the same thing. The large man pulled the two frail boys into his arms and squeezed gently.Later that day, as he was sitting in his favorite chair and the boys were watching TV, he felt something on his chest. A bad omen. He could feel that something bad was going to happen. That feeling was tearing his gut and leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. He knew Ivan and Flora were in their room so he knew that they were safe. He called Sofia but she did not answer. Anxiety and panic crept to the surface as he bounced his leg in frustration. Where was she? Maybe he was just being paranoid... Emilio was abroad. His men did not know about Sofia- Ivan and Flora made sure of that. Only his most trusted allies knew what was going on.
He called her again. Nothing. Cursing, he walked towards his brother's room, colliding into different objects on the way. The boys followed him, worried but he told them to sit still and wait for him.Flora was having the time of her life, bouncing on her husband's shaft. Her pregnancy increased her libido by four times and Ivan was hitting the right spot. She looked down at him; he was gorgeous. His pepper hair was tousled, a thin sheet of sweat coating his body. His arms muscles bulged as he grabbed her butt. They were both close, nearly attaining orgasm when they heard pounding the door.
Grunting irritatingly, Ivan pulled on a pair of trousers while Flora quickly dressed up. Their irritation varnished as they saw Mikhail. They knew him- he would never had disturbed them if it wasn't important.
"Flora, have you heard from Sofia?" he asked in panic.
His breathing was ragged and heavy. Dread filled the woman as she started to fear for her friend. Ivan was the calmest of them and put an arm around her."What's wrong, brother?" he asked, trying to make sense out of the situation.
"I'm not crazy, ok. I can feel that something is not right. I tried to call her but she's not answering."
"Maybe she's just busy with work", Ivan replied, trying to calm them.
"You don't get it!"
Mikhail was starting to feel irritated; his brother was acting like he was straight out of a mental institute. He knew that Sofia was in danger; he could feel it with every cell of his body.
"Baby, let's go check on her", Flora pleaded.
She knew that Mikhail was not lying or acting up. Her husband sighed in exasperation as if he was the only sane person in the room.
