Chapter 5

Hello, I know a lot of you are here for JINKOOK and I understand. I ship JIKOOK only as friendship but NEVER as loveship (NEVER). So please be patient with me, I hate to rush a story.

Jungkook's POV:

After an amazing vacation, we went back to our ordinary life at university. Jimin got a job as a teacher at our university so our relationship had to become even more secret. It is weird, he is only one year older but it looks like I was only his student. After a few months, he began to treat me aloofly and ignores my texts and calls. I realized that I have to remind him that he has got a boyfriend. I decided to visit his apartment and show him what he is ignoring. But while preparing to go to Jimin, I got a message from Taehyung. 

Alien

Classroom number 17, 5 minutes. 

I looked at the message confused and I did as he told me to because he is acting so straightly only when he is angry or when it is serious. So I dressed up in hurry and went to the classroom, when I got there I found Jimin in the arms of my best friend. Jimin stared at me in terror, he obviously panicked when he jumped off Taehyng's embrace but on the other side, Taehyung stared at me blankly, without emotions.

I didn't know what to say or do, I just stared at them without expression. I wanted answers to so many questions but I didn't have the strength to ask, I wanted to harm someone, I wanted to beat someone until I will feel better but there was no strength to do it. I just turned around and left the room, I heard Jimin calling my name but everything around me was in slow motion and blurred. I walked slowly to my condo like a broken and empty body. I lost my best friend and my boyfriend at the same time, It hurt so much so fucking much that I thought that I wouldn't bear it anymore. I spent a few days only at my condo. I didn't let anyone enter and turned off my phone. I just wanted to be alone, away from everyone. 

I thought a lot about Jimin and Taehyung. I felt like a fool, it was obvious, they acted that they hate each other but they were together all the time. I still had to think about that moment on our vacation when I saw them talk together, alone, they looked pretty touchy with Tae's arms holding Jimin's shoulders and when I approached them Taehyung let Jimin go and they were silent. I had to think how long they were cheating on me, how long I was a fool for them, how long they fucked together while I was home. I felt so much grudge towards them but at the same time, I was sad and heartbroken.

After that incident with Vmin, I ignored them both, and to avoid Taehyung, I changed my room with my friend from baseball, Sehun. I had to endure those 2 months before graduation. I thought that I will be as far as I can from them after my application to The ROK Armed Forces but the I met Taehyung in the training area.

I stared at him, frowning in disgust while he stared at me blankly. I saw nervousness and guilty in his eyes but I gave a shit, he deserves to feel like shit for the rest of his life.

"Hi, Kook. Nice to see you after a long time," He said ordinary. I snorted at him mockingly. I made a few steps towards him that my face was just a few centimeters away from him. 

"Whatever betrayer, don't get in my way or I will make you regret it," I said seriously and then I pushed him so hard that he fell to the floor. Our interaction caught the attention of a lot of people who were in the areal, I looked at Taehyung who still was on the floor and stared at me intensely. Then I turned around and left.

2 years later

As time went by, I became captain of my own team. Taehyung who was the second-best soldier in our unit became my Senior lieutenant. We had to cooperate all the time but we are both very professional so our hate (more like - my hate)didn't affect our mission. Even when I was in the best mood and I was celebrating my team's successful mission, I never talked to Taehyung if it wasn't necessary.

"Ok, guys. Listen to me, this is no ordinary mission we are used to. This time we are gonna save only one person from the captivity of terrorists. The person is one of us, he is a soldier who got caught and now he is tortured. They want to get information from him, so we have to get him before he will talk or he will be dead. Taehyung will tell you everything important, departure is at 4 am, be ready." Jungkook told his team, they all nodded and went to the tent where Taehyung waited for them.

Jungkook was outside and watched the nature of the Sahara desert around him. He pulled from a pocket a cigarette and put it between his lips, but then he realized that he has no fire.

"fuck." He muttered with the cigarette still between his lips but then a hand with a lighter showed in front of him and lit up his cigarette. Jungkook turned his head to the side and saw Taehyung who stared at the darkness in front of him, he seemed to be calm but a little tired.

Jungkook was too tired to complain or refuse Taehyung's lighter, so he just inhaled the smoke and blew clouds of smoke out. They were standing there next to each other, it was a long time since they were like this and weren't fighting. Even other soldiers noticed it and were shocked by that view of their captains who were popular for best cooperating among all other teams while hating each other.

"Kook, I wanted to talk to you for such a long time. And tomorrow, anything can happen and I have really bad feelings about that mission." Taehyung said still staring at the desert.

"What? Do you want back off?" Jungkook smirked. 

"No, I would follow you anywhere," Taehyung said quietly but sincerely and that pissed Jungkook off.

"What is your fucking problem then?"Jungkook asked and turned his whole body towards Taehyung. Taehyung looked away from the desert and turned his body to Jungkook too. Now, they were like always, Jungkook is angry and Taehyung is staring at him blankly. 

"I just want to talk to you, about what actually happened 2 years ago." 

"What do you want to talk about? You and my boyfriend were cheating on me. I know it, there is nothing more I need to know!" Jungkook said and wanted to leave but he was stopped. He looked at his arm that was captured by Taehyung. He yanked his arm from his grip and stared at Taehyung furiously.

"Don't touch me, bitch." He hissed at Taehyung.

"Please, this is maybe our last night, I want you to know the truth," Taeyhung begged but Jungkook didn't want to listen to him. He wanted to know only his truth, the truth he was used to. What if he will hear from Taehyung something new, something that will hurt him again and more. He doesn't want to go back to the past, he got over it and that is it. There is nothing to talk about anymore.

But he never thinks about that he never let them explain. Jungkook made a decision without listening to the opinion of the second side. He never let Taehyung explain his behavior, he never talks to Jimin again. Before it was because he was angry, now it is because he is scared.
