Upon arriving at the funeral parlour Zhongli immediately started working , going through the piles of papers stacked on his desk while Childe and i watched him work while arguing what to eat for dinner

" No i want to try the jueyun chili chicken ! "

" Childe you know i hate spicy food "

" you literally only eat non spicy how boring !"

" Shut it i wanna try the matsutake meat roll "

" you live in liyue how do you survive not eating spicy food how uninteresting how does Mr Zhongli even take a likong to you "

" well my boss says he had an errand to run every morning , he delivers these parchments to me before speeding off to god knows where...he always mentions travelling to wangshu inn and mondstadt so i suppose that's where he is now " I acted trying to convince Zhongli that my 'boss' was busy and he shouldn't try to find him

" Say Yujing , have you heard of Mr phantom ? " Childe asked as he stumbled over the various piles of books scattered on the floor which he tried to rearrange

" i'm sorry who is Mr Phantom ? Is he a character in one of those literature books xingqiu reads ?" I acted further trying to wiggle my way out of the situation

" Mr Phantom ? A literature book character ? Pft Yujing how long have you been living under a rock ? Mr Phantom is very real and i bet he's a super cool man to talk to " Childe gushed

" But how did they find Mr Phantom ? " Childe asked curiously dropping several more books on the ground as he continued sorting them

'Mr Phantom' must have been distraught upon the death of his master thus tried to reach the golden house but to no avail , naturally he would turn to the only ones's other than the qixing that could reach the golden house...the fatui "

He isn't wrong about the part on Mr Phantom being distraught over Rex Lapis's death

Heck i think i cried

He was alive and well when i last saw him for my contract i was confused on how the archon died

I swore i would find and avenge my master's killer

However he was wrong about the fatui

The fatui , in fact after some research , came to a conclusion that i work for this masked vigilante , bringing him contracts to fufil. That Mr Phantom had a whole group of people working under him

To have me sign them and pass the contracts on to 'Mr Phantom' and promising me payment for the favour as they couldn't reach him themselves thus needed me to help them connect with 'Mr Phantom'

As for my real name , Y/N it was an instance i was caught off guard , I didnt expect them to find ancient scrolls with my name on it

I mean i have been around for 3000 years they were bound to find something

however i simply told them that she was an ancestor of my family which my grandma said i resembled , thus giving Y/N as my middle name

I also requested them to address me as Yujing instead as it was the name i was given by my mother

Obviously they fell for it , they were not accustomed to Liyue culture and brushed it off as a matter of preference

The name Y/N has been around for centuries , it was not surprising a family would name their child after a century old warrior that they revered
