“ So we shall meet at the electro hypostasis’s ruins (pretend its not there anymore) at dusk and settle our scores there “ jean stated calmly as she signed the contract provided by Mr Zhongli ,unaware they had just signed a contract created by the god of contracts himself

“ remember your part of the contract and we will remember ours “ Ningguang assured as the grand master nodded and swiftly left with the other knights , leaving the cavalry captain and his brother behind 

“ Rex Lapis once said: "Ones who break their contracts shall suffer the Wrath of the Rock~” Childe mused at the distabt figures while keqing facepalmed

“ Master Childe now isn’t the time “ she scolded

“ It is settled then , we have some matters to attend to so we’ll be on our way see you tonight “ Kaeya winked as he slung an arm around the not-so-happy looking Diluc

“ Don’t be late “ Ningguang warned as she turned on her heel and left with her guards

“ I didn’t want any part in your petty squabbles with Liyue officials Kaeya “ He huffed pushing his brother’s arm off him

“ i am not fighting on the behalf of the knights , no matter how much it proves that you are an incompetent bunch “ Diluc retorted folding his arms

“ Hmm well if that’s the case you can come along as a bystander to watch your beloved mondstadtians fight...you also wouldn’t pass a chance to see your dear friend Yujing right ? “ The blue head smirked nudging his brother

“ Fine I’ll go...as a bystander , i am not getting my hands dirty because of some childish disagreement you have with the liyue Qixing “ Diluc sighed in defeat knowing that attempts at denying would be useless since it has been awhile since he saw her and started to miss her presence

“ Y-Yujing ? As in that girlie i always brought along with me to mondstadt ? “ Childe inquired wide eyed , nervously looking over at Zhongli who was taken aback by the winery owner’s words , a tinge of jealousy on his face

“Yes ? What about her...is there more than one Yujing in Liyue ? “ Diluc sneered at the harbinger , dropping his kind and soft facade he put on when the female was around

“ Not to worry there’s only one Yujing in Liyue however she’s not attending tonight’s fiasco...I do not want to force her to take sides regarding later today , since she has friends on both sides  “ Zhongli replied eyeing the brothers closely as he folded his arms mirroring the red head

“Hmph then i see no reason to coming tonight Kaeya” Diluc said obviously irritated that he would not be seeing his violet eyed friend anytime soon

“ Rather than waste my time watching a pointless squabble i might just pay Yujing a visit later today “ He continued as he sent glares at his brother

“ I wouldn’t let you enjoy her company all by yourself little brother , she owes me lunch“ Kaeya chuckled patting Diluc’s crimson hair

“ That’s just great , they pay her a visit and here we are stuck outside Liyue Harbour until tonight since we told her we were on a short business trip “ Childe whispered letting a puff of air out his nose to his taller archon friend who shook his head worriedly

“ I just hope she doesn’t choose tonight to leave the harbour to fight slimes and hilichurls to pass the time “  Zhongli sighed

“ I’ll keep her safe while your away “ Diluc flashed a unexpected grin at the amber eyed man

“ of course we would , we don’t want your pretty friend getting hurt right brother ? “ Kaeya teased while Childe nervously glanced at the said girl’s lover

The red head never really had anyone he was emotionally attached to , other than his late father and maybe , as much as he refuses to admit , kaeya

But he liked the company of a certain female electro vision wielder , the best friend of that fatui harbinger he despised but got along with so they could all be best friends ( Childe , Kaeya and himself )

When Childe first brought Yujing to Mondstadt Diluc and kaeya thought they were dating , they were always so close and if not for the different hair and eye colours he would have thought they were siblings

He really enjoyed having close friends for a change

“ Say , a girl like Yujing is hard to come by in Liyue...i’m sure she has many men after her , is she perhaps still- “

“She’s with me “ Zhongli replied quickly , cutting the captain’s sentence off immediately

“ She’s Mr Zhongli’s girlfriend , did i possibly forget to mention ?“ Childe smiled awkwardly

“ Ooh this just got a lot more interesting “ He joked looking over to Diluc who just grimaced slightly before sighing

“ She is still my friend , since you two are stuck outside the harbour i shall keep her company and drive anyone who tries to court her away “ Dilic said finally as he walked past the geo and hydro duo with his brother in toll

“ i will try not to to unleash my full charm on her “ Kaeya sent his signature wink their way before he and Diliuc made a beeline to the harbour to see their best friend

“ She isn’t like that “ Zhongli shook his head as he smiled uncontrollably imagining the look on her face when kaeya and diluc show up at her doorstep

“ How about we go to Qingxi village to pick some glaze lilies for Yujing ? “ Childe suggested walking alongside his friend
