There was originally a warning here, but at this point I don't think it even needs to be there.

Nether Realm
Day 1Zane, only just 12 years of age at the time, was dragged into a small chamber underneath Dryden's hell-like fortress. The walls made of a strong metal, with a singular large glass window.
"Why am I in here now?" Zane asked, clearly anxious.
Xavier stared at him. "You're going to be staying here for a while. Stay here for 30 days without falling asleep once, and we'll set you free, back to your family. No hesitation."
Zane looked back into the chamber. The four others in there were mostly his age. "Okay..."He was thrown in, the door was shut tight, and it began. As the door was properly secured, light amounts of gas began to fill the room that would allow them to remain awake.
Dante nervously looked around him. The other four locked in with him seemed no different from him besides the colour. It turns out that they were prisoners a little while after Zane was taken. He attempted to calm himself down and go through with what he was put into. At the very least, they were given sufficient food and drink to keep them alive, so it wasn't exactly torture yet.
"Okay Xavier, here's the plan." Dryden started. "Keep them secure in the chamber for the designated time, unless something goes wrong. Every day or so, someone else can watch them."
Xavier nodded. "I'll keep an eye on them every other day."Days 2-5
Since he was placed into the chamber, nothing out of the ordinary seemed to happen. In fact it was fairly calm. Most of the dragons there seemed to speak as if they were in their original cells, located further down the hall. Not even once did they complain or question much. It was civil.
Conversation was the best pass time that they had, so that's all that went on for a while. However, as Day 3 hit, Xavier started monitoring them and their talk from the room next to them, which had a thick glass window in between.
He noticed that with each passing day, their discussion turned more traumatic and dark, speaking of their disastrous nightmares and disturbing visions.
Xavier dismissed this, as he never cared for the suffering of others.By the 5th day, upon watching them, Xavier saw them begin to change in behaviour, including Zane.
"Kyrasklis, here." Xavier said, signifying to him to come over. "Any idea what's going on here?"
The young ones seemed to have gone quiet, one whispering into the glass of the surveillance room.
Kyrasklis shrugged and turned his back. "I suppose it could be an effect of the stimulant. Only God knows what my formula can do to a dragon's mind."
Xavier looked on confused. He decided to keep an eye on them for a while.Zane watched as the dragon by the window continued whispering to Xavier, who clearly couldn't hear him. He feared that the gas would do this to him aswell.
The last thing Zane wanted to lose in this chamber was his sanity.Day 9
Days passed without anything changing, and none of them falling asleep once. The group encased in the chamber remained very quiet, still whispering into the glass, despite not being heard too well.
However it wouldn't take much for them to be heard. While Zane sat in place, almost frozen, one of the other dragons started to scream. Even though nothing was happening, he began to screech and yell loudly, and for a long time.
The others didn't bat an eye. They were almost clueless as to what was going on. But Zane was well aware, silently begging for him to stop. But he didn't. The screamer carried on for hours, to the point where all that could be heard were pitiful squeals.
