13th of Capricorn, Dawn
The Nether RealmThe dark crimson rocks that built up the ground pulsated with dark energy, whilst black atoms danced around the air. No winds blew, no Sun was shining; the Nether Realm is where hope went to die.
Inside the abyss of the realm stood a portal frame, glowing bright blues and pinks from within. Beside that portal was a large jagged throne, built with precious gems and crystals from all over the Dragon Worlds.
A black dragoness, coated in dark purple glowing shards approached the throne, and the dragon sitting in it.
"The Realm's Soul Shard, sire." The dragoness took a bow and presented the gem to the authority.
The dragon smiled as he took hold of it. "The very remnant of the Dark Master Malefor himself... excellent.""Master Kyrasklis is searching for the Shard of Purity as we speak."
The dragoness opened up her pure white eyes, before they turned into regular eyes with purple pupils. The glowing shards also faded in colour. "I shall make my way to the Fire Realm now."
The dragon upon the throne nods. "Then make haste, and be careful. They'll be onto us if you're caught."The black dragoness bows once again, before turning to leave. The dragon on the throne held the crystal in his hand, before crushing it within his grip, absorbing every last atom of energy that it had.
"One out of fourteen crystals..." Another dark dragon stared at the throne from beside the portal. "Convexity will soon be upon us.""Send Thunder to the Ice Realm." The throned dragon demanded. "We will destroy this planet."
Warfang, Dragon Temple
The Sun struggled to rise above the clouds of the skies, leaving the land shaded. The three families were within the Training Hall of the Dragon Temple, waiting for the guardians to begin their first lesson for both Lilith and Arkhalis.
From the entrance, a few voices could be heard: Mostly male, some female. A group of dragons emerged from around the corner.
(Quite a few descriptions here, 6 to be exact)
The dragon at the front was flooded with bright yellow fur as opposed to scales, complete with blue undersides and spikes. He held no tail spike, and had ears instead of horns. His eyes were light blue, glistening whenever the Sun would shine onto it. His claws here even retractable.
The male behind him shared an almost identical physical form to that of the golden one, yet differed. His body held reflective green scales and his eyes were Emerald green. The undersides and spikes remained unchanged. This dragon almost seemed like a replica of his brighter friend.
Two other dragons stood beside each other.
The male had crimson red scales, with an orange underbelly, spikes and horns complementing them. His horns looked similar to Spyro's, except a few extra large ones.
The female consisted of mainly orange scales, with the exception of a dark red patch on the left side of her face. Her lighter yellow undersides matched her horns, which were less high and more stretched backwards.Nearer the back of the group was a slightly larger dragon, made up of red scales and black accents. His wings were entirely darkened, and his eyes matched his scales.
This dragon's claws were much longer and sharper, and his tail held a spiked ball at the end of it.
He was known to be the tyrant of them all. Finally, a female dragon stood close to the golden one at all times. Her divine white scales stood out, much likes Relic's, perfected with bright sapphire eyes. Her slim figure, every curve and edge was perfect. Her fine golden horns and claws reflected the light around her, and her silk smooth body movements when she moved added to her limitless beauty.
Nothing reached a level of perfection quite like she did. They all noticed the families in the middle of the room, and all headed towards them.
"Hello over there!" Cynder said to them all.
The golden one smiled. "Hey!"
"What brings you all to the Temple?" Spyro asked.
"Oh, uhh, seeing the sights, taking everything in before we head out again... yeah." the white dragoness replied, stuttering a little."I'm Isaboki Flameheart of Krevaskio. This is my wife Soranu..." he states, holding her hand. "Rhenamo, Tyrantus, Flame and Ember." He looked at the white, green, dark red, light red and orange dragons in that order. They all waved in response.
(No, this is not Flame and Ember from A Hero's Tail. They're different characters)
"Well, my name is Spyro. This here is Cynder, Relic, Ouranos, Maya and Rhonan."
He then looked down to the younger ones. "And these are our children: Dante, Arkhalis and Lilith."(There's a lot of names, I know. Stick with it)
All of them got aquatinted with one another as best as they could before the Dragon Guardian Cyril arrived. He began to teach the younglings all the things that they'd taught Spyro in his childhood: What it means to be a dragon, and how they can use their otherworldly powers to help anyone at any time.
"The most important thing is this: Do not let your emotions get the better of you." he said to them all. "Or you will be met with a terrible downfall."
"*cough*, dad, *cough*" joked Isaboki, which Soranu giggled quietly at.Streets of the City
Shortly after they were dismissed, they all wandered into the streets, where crowds wandered everywhere.
It was when they reached the Dragon monument (in the centre of the city) where gossip began to flow like usual. Except this time, unlike any other time, every single dragon was spreading the exact same theory.
That theory was that "The Dark Ones are returning.""Do these people ever stop with these conspiracies?" Rhonan asked Spyro, to which he got a simple shrug. Spyro was used to this by now.
"Although..." Relic started. "Every time there has been any theories, the people here haven't been too far from the truth, have they?"
Spyro laughed. "Well that's a lie. Somebody once thought that Cynder was a cannibal."
Relic paused for a moment. "I regret asking that question."
Everybody else laughed, except Isaboki's group.Afterwards, the children were dropped off by a school for young dragons, and the adults went off to know the others more, considering that they'd just met.
"So, you mentioned a place called 'Krevaskio' right?" Cynder asked. "Where is this other city?"
Isaboki seemed hesitant. "Well, Krevaskio is far to the East of here. Although, we've come away from there, because..."
"Because we wanted to explore the other cities, and we've never really left our home town." Soranu interrupted, giving Isaboki an undefinable look.
He simply nods in reply. It wasn't long before they considered them all friends, and that Isaboki and Soranu were willing to stay for a while longer in Warfang.
And they won't regret it.
