after two moths of dress fittings, visiting flower shops, looking at catering, and looking at venues, tomorrow was the day you were finally getting married to the love of your life and you couldn't be more excited.

today you and aaron decided too talk about all of the things that you didn't get to talk about before you got engaged. jack stayed with emily and jj so that you guys could enjoy your last night being engaged alone.

you guys were currently sitting in the eating pizza talking about future homes and if you are going to have more children but you hand remembered that you forgot to ask him why he was sad on the jet.

"hey remember the day we went to sacramento for dylan's case" you ask

"yeah"

"why were you so distant" you ask

"it was a case that we had when your dad died, we had a dad, jimmy hall, who was beating people to death, we found out that he was a boxer and that he was boxing because his son, ryan, had leukemia and he was trying to pay for his treatment" he stops for a minutes grabbing your hand

"jimmy got beaten very badly in a fight and was sent to the hospital, little did we know that his son only hadn't couple of hours to live. we gave jimmy the right to visits his son before his arrest but ryan died that night and i was in the room when it all happened" he says looking up at you

"the reason i was acting so distant was becuase that day was the four year anniversary or his death, every year i go meet his mom and put flowers on his grave, that's why you woke up to an empty bed and i came into work late" he says squeezing your hand.

"why didn't you tell me" you ask sincerely

"i don't know i was just scared" he says

"aaron you never have to be scared to tell me anything. i will never judge you or make you feel bad for wanting to express your feelings, it's normal and that's why i'm here. you don't always have to be mr tough guy aaron, you can scream and cry because it's natural, you're a human aaron not a robot. i love you through all of your good and your bad ok" you say looking at him

"how did i get so lucky" he asks

"i should be asking the same thing" you say looking at him

"so fiancé or should i say soon to be wife, what should we do now" he asks

"a rom com movie marathon " you say smiling at him

"ok rom com it is" he says

for your first movie you guys decided to watch the grinch. aaron layed his head on your stomach rubbing it lightly.

after every rom com ever you looked at your stomach and saw a sleeping aaron, as much as you didn't want to wake up up his head was starting to get heavy and you couldn't do it anymore.

"babe i need you to get up" you say shaking him lightly

he wakes up and looks at your concerned "i didn't hurt you did i" he asks

"no your head was just getting heavy" you say

he stretches before getting off of the couch and grabs the pizza box and walks to the kitchen putting it in the fridge before you both walk upstairs and get in the bed.

"wow tomorrow i will officially be y/n hotchner" you say

"that's has a nice ring to it" he says smiling

"yeah it does" you say smiling

"i love you y/n y/l/n"

"and i love you aaron hotchner"
