Shikamaru x Reader (Fluff)

Making another Shikamaru one shot because I love Shikamaru and because I've been getting a lot of requests to make another one :)

Also idk if this is fluff because I had a better idea to make the story a lil bit more interesting. 

So... Here you go, I hope you like it.

Third Person's P.O.V.

It was a rainy Friday afternoon in Konoha when (Y/N) arrived from her mission. It's been almost a week since the last time she saw her boyfriend and she missed him a lot. When she arrived at Konoha she declined Sakura's offer to go to the bath house and sprinted to their small apartment.

(Y/N) unlocked the door and as expected Shikamaru was slumped lazily on the couch with his hands behind his head, eyes shut and napping in peace. Shikamaru's nap was disrupted when he heard (Y/N) arrive but he chose not to move or say anything and pretended to be asleep because he found it too troublesome.

(Y/N) tiptoed towards him quietly and sat on the floor facing him.

"Shikamaru..."

"Shi-ka-ma-ru"

"Shikamaru~!" (Y/N) whispered his name for the last time while poking his cheek he finally opened his eyes to look at the (h/c) haired girl.

"What do you want (Y/N)?" He asked with a bored look on his face as always wondering how (Y/N) stil had so much energy even after just coming home from her long mission.

"I missed you." She smiled staring at his dead eyes.
"I missed you too babe." Shikamaru replied shutting his eyes close once again.

(Y/N) leaned closer to him and Shikamaru could feel her hot breath fanning over his face, he opened an eye to look at her and (Y/N) was pursing her lips asking for a kiss. Shikamaru groaned but he gave what she was asking for and placed a short lazy kiss on her lips before closing his eyes again.

"We should do something today..." (Y/N) said standing up and paced back and forth the living room with her hand under her chin then an idea popped in her mind.
"We should try out that new restaurant that just opened a few blocks from here!" she said excitedly.

Shikamaru sighed, "Can't we just stay at home for today? It's a drag going all the way there in this rain."

(Y/N) already expected his answer was going to be like that but she wasn't going to let him win this time. It's been two months since the last time they went out for a date and (Y/N) was getting bored staying at home doing nothing. Unlike Shikamaru, (Y/N) couldn't stay calm if she wasn't keeping herself busy.

"But I'm hungry!!" (Y/N) cooed trying to sound cute, hoping Shikamaru would give in but it didn't work because all Shikamaru said was "Just make some food."

(Y/N) frowned and let out a big sigh, Shikamaru suddenly froze he knew that whenever (Y/N) made sighed like that she was starting to get annoyed.

"Don't tell me to just 'make some food' because you and I know that the only thing I can make is a soggy cereal. I just got home from my mission and I want to eat a decent meal!" (Y/N) said pretending to sound angry because she knew he would eventually give in.

Shikamaru noticed the change of the tone in (Y/N)'s voice and his eyes shot open, he turned to look at (Y/N) and saw the angry look on her face.

"Okay let's go then." Shikamaru said the angry look on (Y/N)'s face was gone and was immediately replaced by an angelic smile and Shikamaru just noticed what his girlfriend's been trying to do.
