Jealous!Sasuke x Injured!Reader

Sasuke's P.O.V.

I followed Naruto and Sakura as they led the way in the hospital towards (Y/N)'s room, she was badly injured during our last mission and it was all my fault. We were on a mission to deliver some gold to the Land of Rice when we were ambushed by a group of bandits. Our teams were separated, Sakura and Naruto went together while it was me and (Y/N). We were both attacked from behind and (Y/N) used herself as a shield to protect me, and now she's in the hospital. (Y/N) suffered from blood loss, most of the kunai's that hit her was on her vital spots, if Sakura hadn't arrived to slow down the bleeding she would've been dead right now.

(Y/N) that idiot. When did she even think of protecting me when I should be the one protecting her.

We all arrived at (Y/N)'s room, she was wrapped in bandages and she was sleeping peacefully, her innocence and beauty made my heart skip a beat.

"(Y/N)-chan! (Y/N)-chan! Wake up!" Naruto said poking her cheek.
"Naruto! Let (Y/N)-chan rest!" Sakura said, tugging Naruto by his jacket. For once I agreed with Sakura, (Y/N) needed to rest, I didn't say anything and I leaned on the wall with my hands on my pocket and I watched as the two idiots in front of me started arguing.

Growing up with (Y/N), I've always watched her from a distance. (Y/N) was always the type of person who was very optimistic, even when the world was falling apart, she always tried to see the good in people. When I told our team that I wanted to kill my brother instead of giving me the look that everybody else gave me she just shrugged it off and wished me luck and told me "Let's train and get stronger together."

(Y/N)'s attitude towards everything annoyed me so much at first because she was too nice and when you're nice people will end up using you. But (Y/N) didn't seem to care if people used her, if anything she would be happy because  she was able to help. I also hated how (Y/N) was always happy I didn't understand how she could stay happy all the time when the world was so cruel.

After spending almost all my time with(Y/N) I came to realise that she also had her own battles; she also had her own struggles but she chose it to keep it to herself I've been watching her for too long that I already know who she was deep inside and the next thing I knew my feelings for her turned into something else.

I didn't really pay attention to when I started liking her because I denied it at first and I thought I was only feeling that way because unlike other girls she didn't show any attention to me, instead she paid more attention to Naruto. I thought I was falling for her because of the whole rivalry thing between me and Naruto but I was completely wrong.

My whole heart belongs to (Y/N) and even if I pretend not to be interested in her I will never give up on trying to win her. I don't want to lose, especially not to Naruto. But I have to admit watching her fall head over heels for Naruto wasn'teasy, I didn't know loving someone could hurt this much. Nobody knows about my love for (Y/N), I decided to keep it to myself and watched her from a distance.

(Y/N)'s eyes opened, "Naruto-kun?" (Y/N) said weakly, smiling at Naruto.

"Baka! You woke her up!" Sakura said punching Naruto on his head, (Y/N) started laughing. Seeing her alive and smile was already enough to stop myself from worrying.

She turned her head towards me, catching me off guard, I turned my head to the opposite side and avoided her gaze because I was already staring at her.

"Sasuke-kun! Are you hurt?" (Y/N) asked, instead of worrying for herself she was more worried about me.
"You idiot. Who told you to save me? I didn't need your help." I replied my arms still crossed.

"I-I'm sorry. I just thought it was the right thing to do." (Y/N) said, looking down.
"Worry about yourself first (Y/N), if you put the people around you first before yourself, you'll end up getting killed." I said, because it was true.
