Chapter 16: Championships
Stella's POV
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••I woke up the next morning and noticed Liv wasn't in the bed. I got up and brushed my fingers through my hair and let out a slight groan as my fingers made contact with my head. I pulled my hand away and noticed some slight red marks on it from last night when I punched Cameron in the face.
I shook my hand for a second before making my way down the stairs and towards the kitchen to find Liv. "Liv?" I called out and she didn't answer. "You seen Liv today?" I asked Jordan as I turned towards him once he walked into the kitchen area.
"No," Jordan stated shaking his head. I let out a sigh and figured she was probably upstairs in the bathroom or something. "So, um, look, I'm sorry about everything. I get that you are tired of me saying this twenty-four seven, but I mean it this time."
I rolled my eyes at his comment. "I deserve the eye roll for that, but I'm being serious. I was wrong, okay? I need you more than you need me, like way more than you need me," Jordan said chuckling softly before returning back to a serious face. "Last night when I found out about the affair, the first person I wanted to talk to was you. I wanted you to sit next to me and tell me that everything was going to be okay and to look on the bright side, but I couldn't get that because I screwed up. Big time."
"Jordan-."
"No, let me finish," Jordan insisted cutting me off. "I'm sorry that I'm probably the worst boyfriend and best friend in the whole entire world and you have shown me this past year that you are way better off without me. You won state again and I missed it because I couldn't admit a simple thing. I just wanted you to know that I should have never listened to that annoying voice inside my head. That voice doesn't know you. I need you. I want you to be next to me when I'm grey and old."
"Do you really feel that way?" I asked him with watery eyes.
"Yes, I do. I can't believe I ever doubt us," Jordan confessed. "I'm sorry, El, I really am." Jordan tucked a few strands of hair behind my ear.
"If you don't forgive him, I will beat you," I heard Liv's voice speak up from behind Jordan and I. We both turned towards her and let out a light chuckle. Liv had tears in her eyes, just like Jordan and I did. "I'm not even apart of this and I'm emotional." Liv joined us with the small laugh before I gave Jordan an answer.
"I'd like to start over," I told him with a bright smile on my pale pink lips. Jordan's face lit up in excitement before freezing.
"Are you serious?"
"Very serious," I said nodding my head yes. Jordan wrapped his arms around my waist before lifting me up into the air and spinning us in small circles.
Liv cheered as Jordan placed me back down on the ground. "From here on out, we are an open book," Jordan stated with a smile.
"If we are being honest then I should probably tell you that the true reason I punched Cameron was because he said you weren't worth shit and that you weren't good on the field and off the field in bed," I stated with a weary look on his face, not sure how he will take it.
"He said what?" Jordan asked in shock.
"He was all like "he ain't worth shit" and then said that you weren't good in bed because you aren't good on the field," I filled Jordan in more. Liv nodded her head in agreement.
"She didn't even hesitate to swing at him. Nailed him in the cheek bone hard," Liv added in as she walked closer to us and wrapped an arm around my shoulders.
