Chapter 15: Best Kept Secret pt. 2
Stella's POV
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••JJ and I entered the Cafe that Spencer worked at. I noticed Jordan and all our friends sitting with Chris at a table further back. "He's everywhere," I said groaning.
I looked away and focused on the pool table that JJ and I were wanting to play at. JJ leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "I know you said he didn't want to deal with you anymore, but he won't stop looking at you."
I glanced over at JJ and he gave me his famous smirk. "He can look all he wants, but I'm done with him if that's how he feels."
"He did apologize, Stellie. He tried to make things better."
"Sure he apologized and then became a jerk again. I just wish he wouldn't see his grandpa anymore. He's doing something to Jordan," I explained to JJ with a sad look on my face.
"Okay, I'm tired of this. Cheer up right now or else I will not buy you lunch and maybe take you to see a movie if you feel like it."
"Oo, I like free stuff," I said with a bright smile causing JJ to wrap his arms around me and give me a tight squeeze.
"I enjoy seeing happy Stellie," JJ confessed as we neared our friends' table. All I heard Chris say was that he was having a party and that struck the attention of my dear best friend, JJ. He stopped walking, making me stop and turn towards him.
"A party?" JJ questioned curiously with a smirk on his lips.
"JJ, I don't think he-." I was cut off by JJ smiling brightly and going, "I'm on it."
"Oh no," I said rolling my eyes as I knew what was about to happen.
"He's on it," Chris repeated confused, not knowing what was about to happen.
JJ nodded at the table before grabbing my hand. He led us away from the table as I exchanged a quick glance at Olivia and Leila. They both gave me a sad smile before I looked away and focused on JJ. My phone went off and I heard multiple other phones ding, meaning JJ already sent out he invite before we left the table.
"I will never understand how you do that," I muttered to JJ as I pulled out my phone with my free hand to see what he said exactly about the party.
"How'd you know his address?" I questioned confused.
"A magician never reveals their secrets, Stellie," JJ exclaimed before we made it to the pool table.
After playing pool and seeing a movie with JJ, I walked back home and found Jordan sitting on my porch steps. "Jordan? What are you doing here?" I asked him confused on why he was here, this late at night.
Jordan stood up and let out a small sigh. "El, I am so sorry for how I've been acting towards you. You didn't deserve any of that. I realize that I should not be taking out my anger on you. I- I was mad at my dad for not believing in me and for not letting me see Grandpa Willie."
"J." I bit my bottom lip for a few seconds before figuring out how I wanted to word my next few sentences. "You might hate me for saying this, but I agree with your dad."
Jordan rolled his eyes and let out a scoff. "Don't tell me he talked to you and asked for you to say that?"
"No, it's not like that," I clarified for him. "I think he is helping you out tremendously with your football skills, but..."
"Of course there's a but," Jordan huffed out.
"But," I continued, ignoring his comment. "I think he is messing with your head. I thought we were good once we made up..."

Fanfic"J?" I slowly said as I gave him a puzzled look. "You called me J," Jordan stated with a smile plastered on his face. "Yeah?" I spoke up confused still. "That's your name, right?" "I'm not Baker anymore?" He questioned. "Never again," I muttered wit...
