SHAWN AND VALENTINA ran through the Matthews' backyard after Mr. Feeny and opened the door abruptly. "Mr. Feeny!" They screamed with a smile as they pushed the door and got inside.

"Too late."

"I tried. I tried. I tried. I tried. I tried. I don't get the assignment. I want to drop Economics."

"I tried. I tried. I tried. I tried. I tried. I told him he shouldn't drop the course." Valentina mocked Shawn and smiled at their teacher before hugging Amy, who hugged her back.

"Business, figures, numbers. . . I just can't keep it in my head. Woo-hoo," Shawn made the motion with his hand that all the information of the course fell from inside his head.

"Shawn, it's simple. Come up with a business, pretend you're running it, and write a report." The teacher explained to the boy again.

"Oh! Now I— Woo-hoo. You see?" Valentina smiled and rolled her eyes.

"Dumb puppy, pay attention in class." She wrinkled her nose for a millisecond before flickering Shawn's forehead gently and walking over to Cory.

"Oh, now, come on, let me drop the course. No Hunter has ever made it in business. Why cause me agony? Why?"

"I like it. Shawn, sit down. It's quiet time." Shawn walked over to the chair next to Cory and Valentina. "Amy, here are my house keys. I really appreciate your looking after things while I'm away this weekend."

"Oh, sure, George. Now, is there a number at the hotel in case we need to reach you?"

"Actually, I'm staying at a lovely Bed-And-Breakfast."

"Oh, good for you! Living in someone else's house, eating someone else's food." Valentina heard Cory say as she sipped some of the apple juice that Shawn had on the table.

"So what's that run you, like two bucks?"

"Actually, Shawn, a room in a nice Bed-And-Breakfast can go for as high as $200 a night. Right, George?"
