VALENTINA WALKED DOWN the main hallway of the school, waving at people that greeted her and drawing looks from boys. The girl as she walked noticed Cory and Shawn, the first one holding the school newspaper. Red flag, so she turned around and tried to walk back as sneakily as she could. "Val, hey! Come here!"

The girl pursed her lips and closed her eyes tightly as she was caught by Cory, she then smiled kindly and turned to walk towards the two best friends. "Hey, Cory, Shawn."

"Shawn's about to read my column, enjoy." The curly-haired boy pushed the girl close to Shawn, both of them grinning at the other before he started reading the column written by Cory.

"Is it just me, or does paste just not taste as good as it used to?" The wavy-haired girl looked incredulously at the boy before reading on silently. "Is it just me, or is Homer Simpson getting a little too old to be on the show?"

"Ha." Cory laughed at the words he had written. "Isn't that so true?"

"Look, Cory, I know you really believe in your little humor column, but, uh. . . don't ya think you should be writing about something a little more important, like the girls' swim team and why they don't wear high heels?"

Valentina rolled her eyes before taking the newspaper from Shawn's hands, rolling it up and hitting him on the head with it. "You are disgusting." She handed the newspaper back to him before looking for Topanga, finding her quickly talking to Debbie, one of their friends. "Hey, girls."

"Hey, Val." They both greeted her with a smile. And Topanga quickly updated her on how Debbie's date with Gary had gone last night.

"So, Debbie, Gary took you to Le Chardonnay? It's really expensive,"

"Yeah, it's a really fancy place. Lucky gal," Valentina poked the blonde's right arm as the three of them walked to their lockers.

"Yeah, I know. It was great. We were talking and laughing and having such a great time and then. . . "
