🧸 ( chapter two )
VALENTINA WALKED IN John Adams High's main hallway as her small weekend of vacations ended and she was up to her first day of school. She wasn't a big fan of first days or being the 'new girl' overall, but what could a girl do? At first sight, the school looked the same as the previous one she had attended. She had to admit the hallways were a bit more big and the rooftop was higher, which made her a bit relieved. For some reason. Still, that was the only difference she could see in structure. Now, when entering the topic of people it was the same; there was the group of (some pretty) jocks, the popular and real pretty girls, couples almost eating each other. And that was just the main hallway.
"Hey." She heard a boy talk next to her, which she didn't expect at all. Not that a boy would be talking to her but the fact that he talked to her out of nowhere and just minutes after she entered the building.
Valentina looked to her side and noticed he was looking at her directly, so she pressed her lips and talked back. "Do you need something?" She asked the boy, feeling the stares of the people around her, not knowing if it was because of her response or because of the boy. Was it too rude? Was it the reason people were looking at them? Probably not, but if she thought about it it had sounded a bit rude especially of her as a new girl.
The boys, who she guessed were the blonde's friends, yelled 'Oh's as they dragged out the first letter. The blonde rolled his eyes and smiled at her. "We got a big mouth right here, don't we?"
"I just asked if you needed something, but, yeah, you actually have and should leave me alone to not have problems with more people because I'm sure you have a lot with that attitude." The people around them started murmuring right after her words left her mouth.
"I'm Bryan Johnson, you don't know me, little girl!" The boy stood up and it was annoying how tall he was, basically hovering her with airs of superiority.
"And I don't care, okay?"
Valentina continued walking in the hallway as if nothing had happened, ignoring the even-more-pointed looks and applause, which for some reason she received. The black-haired girl took out the paper that her father had given her, which had her locker number written on it. Her eyes read the number before looking around for it, finding it easily.
