Chapter 12: The Storm

Cookie POV

-A Few Weeks Later-

It's been about three weeks since we confronted Giselle and Eddie and today is Empire's anniversary and we are having a party the twins are going to stay with heir grandad and watch the show from there. Hopefully everyone acts right especially Tiana she came into my office like a week away crying her eyes out talking about how Eddie tried to rape her and how they just used her to get to us, now she did apologize for what she said we all forgave her but I think it's gonna take the girls a little while longer to trust her that's for damn sure. Jamal told me and about what Oliva did to him and we were shocked we didn't tell the girls yet because honestly we don't want them catching a case and he told me about what Michael did and their going too give it a try since Michael finally accepted the fact that he Jamal has a child. The party starts at about 8:00 pm and it's about 2:00pm and after making plans the artists we have performing are my kids, Blake and dare I say it Tiana so this is going to be a very memorial day seeing as how this is Blake's first time performing and my kids first time performing in 5 years. The party theme is black, white, and gold so I'm going to continue to prepare for the party while everyone's at empire handling business. "Yeah ok I'll be out in a minute." I said while on the phone with Webb since Lucious wanted me to have security with me all day today since Gisselle and Eddie been threating us to be honest 'I'm not scared at all' I thought to myself as I made my way into the car.

-Jamal POV-

I'm currently at my house with my siblings, Blake and Tiana to figure out how we are going to perform and because Melodie and Shardae still don't trust her anymore can't say I don't blame them mom told us to let here come back without telling us why she can and what happened with Eddie so we forgave her. So they have been bickering since but it's been quiet lately then Tiana broke the silence "Eddie tried to rape me." She stated we all gasped "WHAT!?!" We all said she nodded and Melodie and Shardae sat next to her and hugged her and she cried they sighed "It's okay T we here for you." Melodie said Shardae nodded in agreement Tiana looked up at them 'But what about what I did I- That doesn't matter anymore T we already forgave you what matters now is that nothing happened." Shardae said Tiana nodded about 30 minutes later Tiana stopped crying and her and the girls had a heart to heart conversation and Tiana made sure that she wasn't going to do anything to make them not trust her while they were in the kitchen talking it was just me and Blake and I saw how he was looking at Shardae with a big ass smile on his face I tapped him "So what's up with you and my sister, Huh?" I asked him smiling he turned around face "I don't know what your talking about were just friends." He said I scoffed "Mmmhm just friends please." I said while laughing then they came back in and we finished discussing our plans.

As the Lyon family prepared for their preforming and speech the quest started to arrive Cookie had on a beautiful White dress while Lucious had on a black, white, and gold suit.
