Chapter 8: Drama

-The Next Day-

Giselle Baker POV

I have been thinking about that girl since yesterday. I can't believe she just left like that after I actually tried to get close to her. Wow how ungrateful but to tell you the truth I don't want to get close to her I have to gain her trust and get her mad at her family and their company so she can sign with us. She can really make us a lot of money me and my husband thought so even though we are her biological parents we still don't care about her. Our company name is CreedMore I mean we do have good artist who have some fans but if we get Shardae we are going to be big. But if she hates my guts then I'm gone have to come up with a different plan.

Cookie POV

'I'm so glad the Shardae didn't actually hate us' I thought while filling out some papers at Empire and just when I was about to leave for lunch Becky called me I huffed and answered "Mrs. Lyon someone is here to see you." She said I huffed once again she laughed "Who is it, Becky." I said "Giselle and Eddie Baker Do you want me to send them in?" She stated I rolled my eyes what the fuck do they want "Yeah Becky go ahead." I said and then I hung up and right after I hung up I called Lucious and he came to my office and we talked for a minute until they came in. After about two minutes they finally came in I sat back against Lucious chest since I was sitting on his lap. They sat down and mean mugged us they were always jealous of our relationship since we were in Philly but whatever I huffed "What do y'all want?" I asked them "We want our daughter back we are offering of 3 million dollars for the girl." Eddie stated me and Lucious looked at each other before looking back at them "Hell nah you are not getting my child." I said "And the hell is wrong with y'all this is not the 1800s buying a person is illegal." Lucious said they huffed "So if it's not money then what do you want?" Giselle said "NOTHING bitch because you are not getting her. Let me ask you a question why do you want her back after ALL these years?" I asked and she froze "Exactly, now your dismissed." I said but they just sat there for like two minutes so I pressed the button under my desk and Webb came in seconds later to escort them out. I looked at Lucious and we both started laughing damn they really tried.  

Shardae POV  

I just got done looking for a place at first I wanted to get a house but I got a beautiful penthouse for now. I was making my way into Empire and I was on my phone texting Blake when I heard someone calling me I looked behind me and huffed its that bitch Giselle and some fat ass nigga I turned all way around "What the hell do you want now?" I asked her with pure disgust and hatred in my voice i'm sure she heard it also she cleared her throat "I wanted you to meet you father, Sweetie." She answered I looked at the both of them and chuckled "Are you delusional I don't want to know y'all or be around y'all because y'all damn sure didn't want to be around me. So get the Fuck. Out. Of. My. Face. and leave my alone, Damn!!" I said then turned around they scoffed "I know you're not about to walk away from your REAL parents are you?" Giselle asked I put on my headphones and played a song and looked back at them "Watch Me." I said then started walking away I peeked behind my shoulder one more time and I looked like they were calling my name gave them the bird while walking away and I got on and elevator to the studios. There has been a melody playing in my head since Christmas that I've been meaning to get out this song is going to be very different from my others. So I got in the booth and staring working on my instruments.

-Time Skip-    

After making sure my track was perfect It was time to start working on the lyrics. I pressed play on the track and started to write but its like i'm just stuck I haven't wrote a song in 5 years. After a while of not creating any lyrics I stared to get frustrated. 

Cookie POV   

While I was talking to Melodie, Lucious, and Jamal while walking down the hallway I heard a beautiful instrumental everybody else seemed to pick it up to we entered the studio to see Shardae sitting on the couch with a notebook and a pencil in her head it looked like she was sad and she throw the notebook in a fit of rage. I sat down on the couch by her and pulled her in my arms she started crying as soon as our skin came in contact I sighed and rubbed her back I knew she would crash about the news we told her I knew she was trying to be strong and acting like it didn't hurt her but it did, Everyone else entered the room and sat by her. I looked down at my child "Whats wrong, Baby?" I asked her she lifted her head up and looked at me "I can't write anymore mom it's like I can't sing anymore and singing was the only thing that keep me up when I am down like now." She said I nodded "And right now I need something to lift my spirits up right about now. After finding out that I'm not a real Lyon." She said then put her head back down I lifted her head back up "Baby listen to me Just because your not a Lyon biologically doesn't mean you are not one, Okay? Now I need you to hear me when I say this: I don't care about what anybody says or what a DNA test says YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER  and your are a Lyon you got me?" I said to her she nodded and moved out of my arms and sat up straight "Good now bring yo' big headed ass back over here and give your mama a hug." I said which made everyone laugh she gave me a hug "I love you.' I told her "I love you too." she said back then we all got back up from the couch Lucious paused the track and stood by Shardae "Now as for this track right here. Don't ,worry about writing down the lyrics I think you should show your fans a track they can't deny. Just close your eyes and say what on your heart, You know say what you are feeling right now." Lucious and then he gave her a hug she nodded and stepped inside the studio booth and put the headphones on "You ready?" Jamal asked her she nodded and sat down on one of  the stools and put it in front of the mic. She then closed her eyes and let the words flow and she sounded beautiful.

Once she was done we all wiped our eyes except for Lucious but I knew he felt it also she came out the booth we all smiled and gave her hugs Tiana even came in the room when she heard Shardae singing we all Congratulated her on a job well done. Finally she's back singing now we just have to get Jamal and Melodie in the studio.
