Chapter 24: It's Friday!!!!!

Melodie POV

I smiled as I walked out of the school with my sister and her friends along with mine so it was like 6 of use walking out of the school. We pretty much all know each other so we were like a whole squad. Today was a crazy day kind of I just found out the Denzel was gay and I don't have a problem with that I really don't care as long as he is happy but anyways I'm just mad that he didn't tell me I've known him for my whole life but he told he didn't tell me because he thought I would be mad. We hugged everybody that was with us and when Shardae hugged Denzel they both made disgusted faces and groaned they have like a Pam and Martin relationship we have like a 3 week break I don't know why but I'm not complaining "Alright bye Melodie bye Mega Mind." Denzel said laughing at the end Shardae turned around "Bye Donald stump." She clapped back I laughed she always calling him short because he is. We hoped in the car a little mad because Jamal didn't pick us up today but I have headphones I put on my headphones and looked out the window as Shardae did the same.

Lucious POV

Oh wassup y'all I haven't talked to y'all in a minute. Anyways Cookie's baby shower is tomorrow which is a Saturday let's hope that the girls don't have anything thing do or be at because cookie wants her whole family there are but not the people that she hates. I also had Leviticus turned into its own club instead of it being in empire so the remodeling should be done buy tomorrow that will be a surprise to cookie also but it looks great. I heard the doorbell being rang like 8 times and answered and it was the girls "Hey Daddy Excuse Me!!!" Shardae said running pass me and going upstairs I looked at her running up the stairs confused Melodie tapped me "It's ok dad she just got to use the bathroom." She said I busted out laughing "Baby will you and Shardae be going to your mothers baby shower at Leviticus tomorrow?" I asked her she raised her eyebrows and made the 'what' face "I'm so sorry but we won't the teachers at school gave us work to do over the break. Ok I'm sorry dad tell mom sorry as well I know she was looking forward to us going but I got to go get started." She said I said it's okay and she went upstairs damn Cookie was really looking forward to seeing her daughters since we don't see them that much cause of school I sighed and went to go tell Cookie.

-Next day Saturday night-

We are now on our way to Leviticus I was driving Cookie looked at me "Baby did you call Jamal?" She asked me I nodded "Yeah he said he's already there." I said she sighed and looked out the window. Once we got there we walked in it 'twas dark I don't know why I mean there is supposed to be people here Cookie was holding on to me so tight I had to laugh "What's so funny?" She asked " You're so cute." I said smiling Jamal and Michael was also with us the colors of the baby shower were gold and white. We were walking through the walkway between the seats when we all to familiar voices singing then blue light illuminated everything the crowd began clapping "Hey mommy you know we would never miss this." Shardae and Melodie said before they started performing Cookie was just smiling

(How their performance went Shardae was Halle which is the skinny girl and Melodie was Chloe which is the other girl.)

"Yeah the kids are alright." They Sung the crowd stood up in applause from the girls that performance was beautiful. After they said story to Cookie they ended up getting slapped in the back their neck oh well they had it coming the rest of the night went smoothly as usual cookies father was crying when he seen them singing for the first time. Life is finally looking up.

Meanwhile: Camila and Alexis and the school principal are planning their revenge on Who Melodie or Shardae ?
