Chapter 17: Everybody Wants A Piece

(A/N: Just wanted to post a chapter of this story since I haven't updated in a while. This chapter will be short I just wanted to give y'all a happy chapter before the drama sets in.)

-A Week Later-

Cookie POV

This has to be the best vacation after our honeymoon of course. And I have to say that I might end up pregnant by the time we get home dealing with Lucious ass we're supposed to be going home today. I'm just waiting on Lucious to wake up so we can get dressed and go I rolled over a tapped him "Lucious wake up." I said calmly he groaned and rolled over I huffed "LUCIOUS WAKE UP THE BUILDINGS ON FIRE!!" I yelled he jumped up and I busted out laughing he looked at me and groaned "I'm sorry baby but we have to ready with jet gets here." I said getting up and walking to bathroom "Nah fuck that you paying for that shit girl come here." He said running after me I laughed and run. We're most definitely gonna be late.

-2 Hours Later-
We were finally on our way out of a the hotel we just had to check out took the bags out to the car while I sighed us out. When I finished I turned around to leave and bumped into a fairly tall dude "I'm sorry about that I was looking." He said "Its cool." I said walking away "Wait aren't you Cookie Lyon?" He asked I nodded he walked up on me she stuck out his hand "Hi I'm Damon Cross I have a daughter who's a huge fan of yours. She actually sings as well and really wants to be sighed with you guys." Demon said I hummed and shook his hand "Well here's my card if she every wants to come by just tell to ask speak with a girl named Becky." I said the Lucious walked up and stood behind me and put his hand around my waist "The car is all packed baby. Who's this." He asked the stood in front of me and stuck his hand "How's it going man I'm Lucious Lyon." He said Damon shook his hand "I'm Damon cross I was just cookie here that my daughter really wants to get signed with empire." He told Lucious "Oh we'll just have her call empire then we can set up a meeting. I guess I'll be seeing you soon huh?" He asked Damon nodded Lucious grabbed my hand and we left and went into the car. As the car was driving I was on my phone texting the family before Lucious broke the silence "That guy was creepy as hell baby." He said I nodded "Yeah he was." I said "Do you still wanna meet with his daughter?" He asked me I nodded "Me too cause I wanna see if she can sing I hope she don't sound like a dying horse." Lucious said I laughed. And snuggled up to Lucious as the car ride continued.

Damon Cross POV

I'm starting to feel a lot better after meeting I mean I've heard about how beautiful Cookie is but seeing her in person is a whole different thing. After checking out of the hotel I made my way home the see my 24 year old daughter Yana watching tv I locked the door and sat down next to her "Yana honey I saw cookie Lyon today and she gave me her card." I told her she turned around and squealed "What dad foreal I love her I really wanna meet her wait why did you get her card dad I told you I'm singing no more." Yana said I scoffed "Yes you will you have to get back out there. I'm sure you're mom would want you too she always said fallow your dreams." I said Yana sighed "Yea I know alright I'll do it I'll make an appointment for tomorrow." Yana said "Alright do you want me to come with you?" I asked her she nodded. Looks like we'll meet again Cookie Lyon.

3rd Person POV

Jamal and Kai ran around the house like soldiers with there nerf guns there was a massive nerf gun war going on and it has been going on since this morning so it was Jamal, Kai, Blake, Denzel, and Joven against Melodie, Shardae, Tiana, Lola, and Jurnee and so far the girls were winning it was just Jamal and Kai left on the boys team and on the girl team it was Melodie and Shardae left the rules of the game were if you get shot your out. Jamal and Kai were starting to run out of places to hide and they were getting tired while everyone else just watched "You know y'all can just give up now you know." Melodie said "Nope we will not." Jamal said they heard the doorbell ring and it was cookie and Lucious damn it's been that long the twins  and Lola jumped up "Hey mom hey Dad." They said giving their parents big hugs they hugs their babies "Hey babies hey y'all. What's going on?" Cookie asked "Hey cookie we had a nerf gun war the girls against the boys right now it's just Jamal, Kai, Melodie, and Shardae." Tiana told them they nodded and sat down next to everybody else from the view they were looking from Melodie and shardae had their back against the wall and Jamal and Kai were the same way Melodie signaled for shardae to hand Her a pillow once she did Melodie threw it up in the air making Kai come out of cover she shot him in the the long and he shot her to so they were both out they were being extra for the kids which was funny as hell they were limping and shit "Shardae I'm down you gotta finish this." Melodie said dramatically we all laughed Jamal and shardae both deep breaths shardae slid past the wall firing her gun like she was on some action movie she then took cover behind a wall and through her machine nerf gun down and picked up the pistol nerf gun she saw how many bullets she had and sighed "I'm out of ammo man." She said lowering ether nerf gun Jamal snuck up to the opposite of the wall and Shardae turned around and pointed it right at his forehand as he did the same with her they looked at each other "Why does it always have to come to this?" Jamal said his hand shaking "Because it does. Don't do it." She said they both tensed up and pulled the trigger shooting each other "OUCH!!" They both yell rubbing their foreheads Jamal straighten and stuck his hand out "Truce?" He said shardae shook his head "Truce." She said they  put the nerf guns down and came to greet their parents after they all calmed down and they ate it was time for round two and the time cookie and Lucious will be joining.
