Chapter 23: Back To School Part 2

-Melodie POV-

I simply watched as Alexis walked away like a punk but I can care less. I can't wait to see Denzel and Jude in my next class I think it's biology to be honest I've learned all of this before so I'm really just here to put money in the staffs pockets if you think about it they can't get paid unless they have students here. But anyway Denzel is my boy best friend and Jude is my girl best friend we've known each other since we we're little in preschool back in the day before my mom went to prison. I closed my locker door and locked it and walked to my class a little late because I had to prepare myself so I won't snap on my biology teacher. I walked in with everyone looking at me of course that's one thing I hate about being late when you walk in everybody just stares at you. I saw Denzel and smiled and sat down next to him he smiled as well Jude was sitting right next to us I waved we will hug later. I sat there waiting for the teacher to start teaching "Ms. Lyon late on your first day huh?" She said Denzel looked at me like don't say nothing I shook my head no to him then turned back to my teacher "Yeah Good morning to you to Ms. Henson. " I said she sighed and got to teaching the class she hates me because when we we're younger I think I was like maybe 9 and my mom was in prison and she and my dad was at our house talking and me being the kid I was I ran downstairs and sat next to my dad I was indeed a daddy's girl then and still am now but anyway I sat next to him he smiled and kissed me on my forehead  and asked me what was wrong cause I looked kinda sad I sighed and said something about Shardae and Jamal being sleep and that I was bored I remember my dad saying that I could go watch tv in his room I smiled and thank you long story short she tried to tell me what to do and I told her that she was not my mother after that her and my dad never did anything or talk to each other after that I guess she thinks that I was the reason that she wasn't  able to be with my dad. Years later when I was in 9th grade I realize she was my teacher and she has treated me in a different way ever since. She gave pre tests to see how much we know and it was like a packet with over 9 pages I put my headphones in and got to work.

-Time Skip-

I walked up to my teachers desk and sat my test on it up side down and walked back to my seat.  "Shardae and Melodie Lyon please report to the main office.  I repeat Shardae and Melodie Lyon please report to the main office. Now." I huffed and grabbed my bookbag and walked out.  I was to my principals office and saw my little sister sitting there with a irritated face I sat down next to her "Good morning Melodie." Mr. Richardson said to me I said good morning to "OK so Shardae's gym teacher told me that he seen some scars on her leg, arm, and elbow she tells me that she fell off her bike and fell you want to tell me what really happened?" He said I huffed "She fell off her bike that's what happened. " I said to him he nodded "Did your dad harm your sister?" He asked me "No he would never hurt us." I said with a straight face he chuckled "Are you lying to me -No." He said we got up and walked out while walking down the hallway "Are you okay? " I asked her she nodded and walked to her classroom which was right across from mine "I want a divorce." I said to her she looked back and smiled "Already filed" She said I walked back in class.  Man I love my sister.

It was now the end of the day and I walked outside and seen Shardae hugging her friends good bye "Alright bye Denzel imma see you tomorrow you to jude." I said as I hugged Denzel he wrapped his arms around my waist tightly after him I hugged Jude I waved at them as I walked to the car "GIRL YOU BETTA CALL US FOREAL MELODIE!!" They yelled to me I laughed and got in the car and Jamal was driving "Hey Jamal." We said "Hey y'all how was school." He said pulling off we both huffed he laughed "That bad huh?" He said "You have no idea." Shardae said "Alright come one of y'all gotta play music it's bout to be a long drive." He said I played music from my phone this is something that we always do then we got into a traffic jam I turned off my music.

Cookie POV

I turned on the live feed from Jamal car through the hidden camera "Baby jamal went to go pick them up look." I said he walked in and smirked "They always listening to music." He said I gave him the 'duh' face we looked back at the screen then Melodie stopped playing music "Bro for real what is they doing." Shardae said irritated Melodie and Jamal nodded "They need to come on cause I gotta eat my salad." Melodie said "Girl shut yo ass. You look like a salad damn what is tommorow steak... Then the next day...wings...cause it is gone be a Wednesday right...then subway....and oh you get on a scale." Jamal said They busted out laughing Melodie fell out in the chair but Jamal keep going "You get on a scale and you are so disappointed. You like how did I go from a 166 to a 167 BECAUSE YOU NOT EATING RIGHT HONEY!!" he said "Oh my God" Melodie said.  Jamal laughed "I'm just playing finally we can go. Buckle up and turn that music back on." Jamal said driving we laughed after like 5 minutes of them jamming to music Melodie paused to the music "Hey before we get home I call the rest of that dressing that's left." She said Jamal and Shardae made the shocked face but then smirked "Jamal you still got ours hidden right." Shardae said smiling raising her eyebrows he nodded and kept driving "Jamal it's a police car right bye us. Oohhh he eyeing you down to you Betta get cho number out it looks like he want plugs. " Shardae said Jamal looked out the window "I dare you to say something to him." Melodie said Jamal nodded and said alright "He rolled the window down and yelled "WELL HELLO MR. POLICE MAN YOU GON PULL ME OVER!!" He said to him they all laughed then the police flashed his lights Melodie and Shardae gasped Jamal pulled over the officer walked up to the car and told Jamal to step out and walked to his car they we're talking "Girl roll the window down so we can hear." Melodie said Shardae let the window down and they listened "Bro did he really just ask for Jamal number." Shardae said "Is it just me or do he sound like he ugly but he not though. " Melodie said Jamal walked back to the car "So what happened?" They asked him "He gave me his number." He said "Ohhh OK Mal I see you OK let's go cause I want some of Mommy's dressing." Shardae said putting her seat belt back on Jamal chuckled "You gon' have to stop calling her mommy you know that right?" Jamal said "Who said I can't I will be calling her Mommy as long as I live please believe me." Shardae said Melodie nodded in agreement "Yeah me to." She said . With that they turned to music back on.  I turned of the Tv they need to be on a reality tv.  "You know I'm kinda jealous that they call you 'Mommy' the barely call me daddy- I do don't I?" He said after I said that he chuckled and said. I know and we went downstairs and just chilled until our kids come back.
