Chapter 12

Benny's POV
I saw Alison with a gun in her hand. She pointed it at Tyler. "Get ready to die sunshine!" She said. Tyler just looked at Alison and in a few seconds she smiled. "You're such a moron Ali, the goddamn gun isn't loaded!" Alison frowned and looked inside the gun.

I then saw that the gun was loaded! Alison didn't watch where she put her finger and in a few seconds Alison was gone. "Run!" I said. Tyler ran in front of me. Tyler tripped on something but still kept running. That's when I heard a gunshot. It was loud. So it'd had to be near. I looked around and I didn't see Tyler. That's when I heard a voice.

"I thought one of you guys were gonna crack. I just thought it'd be you!" The voice had a sharp tone. I looked around and then saw Alison. But, Alison had Tyler in a headlock with a gun to Tyler's head. "Leave her alone Alison!" I yelled. "Hmmm should I? Well she did steal you away from me, so.... no!"

"Ali--" I began but she cut me off.

"Take one more fucking step and she dies Rodriguez!" She snapped.

"What happens if I kill you first?" I said smiling.

"Then I'll give this slut to my brother!" She smirked back.

"Who?"

"Phillips!" She said then Phillips came out from behind the tree.

"Miss me darlin'?" He said to Tyler.

"Here I'll finish Benny you take care of Ty!" Alison said handing Tyler to Phillips.

But before Phillips grabbed Tyler. She ran. "RUN TYLER!" I yelled after her.

I ran after her and step after step my pulse raced faster and faster.

"You fucking bastards!" I heard Phillips yell.

Tyler kept running all the way to the tree house. Thankfully the guys were all there.

"Guys keep her safe! Phillips and Alison are trying to kill her!" I said to Ham.

"Alright man don't worry she'll be safe!" After that I ran for it.

After an hour or so of running I figured they gave up. I went back to the tree house and they were still awake.

"Hey, uh- Tyler? C-can you come outside for a minute?" I said to her.

She nodded and got up. "What's up Benny?"

"I just wanna say I'm sorry for everything that happened today. I mean it's all my fault!" I said sitting down on the grass.

"Hey,hey Benny it's not your fault they're the ones with the fucking issues!" She said sitting down next to me.

She laid down on the grass using her hands as a "pillow". I laid down too.

"The stars are real pretty ain't they Benny?" She laughed after she said that.

"What?"

"Why am I telling you this? Obviously you wouldn't think the same!"

I playfully punched her in the arm. She sighed and said "Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now..."

I smiled and said "I agree Ty.... I agree."

And with that I saw a foot kick Tyler in the stomach.

"I told you I'd be back!"
