Heather walks inside her room, her hands and legs trembling. Inside, Olivia sits on her bed, her arms crossed. She stands up, looking at her pale face. She grabs her shoulders and looked at her up and down. "Heath? What happened?"

"I-I k-killed her..."

Olivia went speechless. She lets go of Heather, making her fall on the floor. Olivia shakes her head in disbelief. "Heather." She looks up to her. "Don't talk to me anymore. You're a murderer." She grabs her handbag and rushed out from the house. The door was closed shut, making a loud banging noise.

She stays on the floor, and stares at her hand. Her own hands has killed an innocent life.

Tick tock, tick tock.

The sound of the wall clock ticking is the only thing accompanying the silent hospital hallways. In one corner, Zak sits alone, his face buried in his face. He leans over so his elbow reaches his knees. Nothing on his mind expect for the fact that you are now in the surgery room, fighting for your life.

Footsteps were heard just meters from him. He doesn't move an inch, not caring anything in the world about what's happening. Heavy breathing fills the air.

"Zak?"

The voice. It was Jennifer. He finally lifts up his head and rises up to embrace her. She grabs his neck, caring a lot of her best friend. Throughout the last 5 years, Jennifer was always there for him, despite already being in a relationship. She doesn't care. as she is his best friend since high school, and John, her boyfriend, understands.

Zak's tears run down his face, droplets dropping on the floor. "Jenn, s-she-" "No, she'll be fine. She's a strong girl."

To be honest, he has no hope that you will survive.

A little while later, a doctor exits from the surgery room, his mask still on on. Zak runs, followed by Jennifer. "Doctor, how is she?" The doctor smiles and nods. "Thank goodness, she survived. It was tough, but we managed to fix her broken skull. Her neck is slightly broken and her right leg is broken as well. But apart from everything else, she is fine."

Finally after hours of waiting, both Zak and Jennifer were able to take breaths of relief. "Thank you, doctor. Thank you so much." "You're most welcome." The doctor smiles and nods. He walks away, and to his office. Zak hugs Jennifer again, and is super grateful that you still had the will to live.

The sound of the door opening wakes you up from your consciousness, you look on both eyes using the edge of your eyes. A man wearing a blue hoodie walks up on you, followed by a woman wearing a black t-shirt. Your vision was blurry, and you could barely see who they were.

He sits down on the stool and holds your hand. "(Y/n)?" Then it came to you. Zak. Your vision gets better, and you could clearly see Zak and Jennifer standing by you. "Hey." You answer, not having enough energy to say something even more. "I-I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." He pecks a kiss on your hand.

"It's my fault. I shouldn't have jumped on the road so stupidly." He shakes his head. Jennifer gently holds your shoulder. "You feeling alright?" She asks, worried. "Yeah." The room falls silent, only the beeping from the machine to be heard.

You look around you to see a cast on your leg, and your neck feels stiff. You feel something wrapped around your head.

Suddenly, the door opens to reveal four men standing in front of the door. The taller one running towards your bed. He kneels next to you, softly caressing your arm. "George?" You smile. "Yes. Yes, sis. I'm here." The view of your big cousin in front of you really soothed you.

"Aw, glad you could come. I thought you and the boys were having too much fun to the point where you forgot about me." You had the moment to joke, when George was genuinely worried about you. "(Y/n)! You're literally in pain right now, and you still have the audacity to joke around?" He starts being like a dad to you.

You laugh, stoking his face. "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. But clearly, I am fine." Darryl steps in to stand next to Zak. "This is a very weird way to meet you after years, (Y/n)." You smile and giggle. "Hi, Bad. Looking good, as always." He gets flustered. "Oh wow. A compliment from a patient. I am honored." He jokes, wrapping his arms on Zak's shoulders.

"Well, clearly she's not going to notice us." Nick bickers around while pretending to cry on Clay's shoulder. Clay laughs it off. "Now, come on, Sapnap. This is our first time meeting her in person." "Well, if I could stand up right now, I would give you a big hug." You say, delighted to see both Clay and Nick in person.

Zak smiles in relief. Even though you're in too much pain, he knows how grateful you are for them coming to visit you. You look at Zak and let go of his hand. "Can I have a chat with George, alone?" Those words worries everyone. "Of course, let's go guys." Jennifer nods and opens the door for everyone to go out. You nod at Zak to signal that it was okay.

After everyone exits your room, it was only you and George. He sits on your bed and looks at you. "Is there something wrong?" He asks, holding your hand. "I want to go home." He did not expect that at all. "What? Why?" You smile, fiddling around his fingers. "I can't stay here for long. I think I'll get rest better at home."

George's expression changes. "But what about Zak? You said it yourself it has been 5 years." You scoff. "Zak. Oh that man. He has changed a lot. Yeah, I really did miss him. But, something inside of me just says that I need to go back home to Brighton." He places your arm on his face. You thought that the face he was making was pretty cute.

"You're really sure, (Y/n)?"

You nod. "Positive."
