so i feel so bAD for updating just for it to be an author's note ;-; but i really just wanted to make sure that all of the readers who don't follow me see this message. i have been so busy with school these last few months that i barely had time to write a few words each day, which makes me so sad bc i really want to keep updating for you guys. however, i am reeeeally not happy with how i wrote this back in june. i feel like since then my writing style has changed, and i don't like how i wrote y/n's character, nor her and zuko's relationship. i contemplated just scrapping the whole story and not working on it anymore, but it has received so much support lately that it's inspiring me to keep it alive 🥺 so, if you all want me to keep updating, the first thing i'm going to do is rewrite the story as you all know it. y/n will be the same dual-bender and have the same backstory, but there are many things about her power that i want to change (aka, i want her to grow stronger over time. she's too OP too early on 😭) but please leave a few comments if you have any suggestions or if you would be into it! i have a month off of school now, so i can get back into writing.
