Stuck between a rock and a hard place,
Neither seem to support me.
My mind on overdrive,
Cannot keep from stumbling.
Heart, mind and soul,
Hoping to one day let go.
Be free of it,
Loosen its control.
Never could resist,
At least not in my own will.
Made so many mistakes,
You would think I was Miss Taken.
It was never really fun,
Well...maybe just at first.
Kept searching,
Not even sure what I searched for.
Fulfilment?
I never knew.
Not sure,
I even wanted to.
Cannot teach an old dog new tricks!
A leopard never changes its spots!
Well this old dog is spotting new strips!
You see by his stripes,
I am healed.
It says so,
Right in his will.
Good plans,
He said.
To prosper me,
Even with all my iniquities.
Putting his life on the line,
And they say true love is hard to find.
Friend to the many,
Even to the fool.
From age to age,
Your perfect will holds true.
All seeing All knowing,
No matter how hard I try hide it.
Your words will last,
But never my trespasses.
Before mother's womb,
You knew me through.
But still you decided,
This broken vessel would do.
Now I realise that I am stuck!
Stuck in love with you!
Stuck in this game for two!
Stuck till your will holds true!
But stuck never felt so good,
So stuck till the end,
I'll remain with you.
