Twylish's POV

After English lesson, it's already lunch.

I was sitting with Sylvia, Katie, Ginny, Sophie and Alice, when Draco, Jake and Percy walked over.

"Mind if we sit down?" asked Jake, smiling. We were all shocked, but Katie was the first one to get over it.

"Yeah sure." She smiled sweetly, immediately scooting away from Ginny for space for the boys to sit and looking at Percy, batting her eyelashes. But Percy wasn't looking at her. He was looking at me. I looked over to see Jake staring at me as well. Desperately avoiding both their eye contacts, I glanced at Draco to see him staring at Sylvia, who's innocently eating. I smirked to myself and continued eating, turning to see Jake and Percy sitting either side of me, while Draco sits next to Sylvia. Sylvia smiles at him and continued eating, with Draco's cheeks flushing pink.

"Hey." Jake said, dragging me out from my thoughts.

"Hey." I said, smiling back. I looked over his shoulder and saw Katie staring at Percy with a scowl. Percy tapped my shoulder, and I looked over, ignoring Katie's jealous glares. He opened his mouth to talk, but was cut off by Sophie.

"Do u guys remember there's a Halloween prom at school next Friday night?" Sophie suddenly piped up.

"Oh yeah. I'm still waiting for someone to ask me." Alice answered dreamily.

"Ahem!! You hav a boyfriend!!" Ginny said loudly, but still not looking up from her book.

"Who?" Draco asked nosily.

"Ezsuo (A/N- Ed-zoo-owe)." Sophie said quickly, before Alice could protest.

"Hey!" Alice cried, blushing madly. The others laughed, and I smiled n shook my head.

"Don't deny it, Alice. Even though you guys are not dating, everyone can see the looks you give each other." I wriggled my eyebrows and pointed at Alice teasingly.

Alice ignored all of us and continued eating.

"Who are you going with, Sylvia?" I asked, leaning over the table.

"Hmm.. I'm not sure..." She said in her usual soft dreamy voice. "I don't know who actually." Draco snapped his head towards Sylvia. He had this determined look on his face, but looked too shy to say anything, especially now.

"Do you think you'll go with Draco?" I asked Sylvia.

"I'm totally fine with it." Draco said quickly. I gave him a quick smirk before turning back to Sylvia.

"It'll be ok I guess." She nodded, smiling. Draco smiled gratefully at me before returning to his lunch.

"How about u Percy?" Jake asked coolly.

Percy scratched his head. "I'll think about it later." He shrugged.

I glanced at him, and quickly look away when I saw him looking at me. I hav a feeling something's going on about him... Not like I'm normal anyway. I stared at him for most of the English class, and even sighing dreamily. I took a sip from my hot chocolate n wondered why I did.

~After lunch~

We all went to our classrooms, saying bye to Jake n Draco on the way.

It's a free period for Class 1R, so I sat with Ginny n read the maze book 2. Now the Gladers (how they name themselves) got separated with the only girl, and they had to escape the scorch to get to some "safe haven", where they'll get cured from the diseases they caught, which was called the Flare.

I glanced at Percy playing with some bullies in our classroom. I scowled but returned to my book.

After a while, Percy bumped into my chair, which made me lose grip of the book. It all happened in slow motion, as the book fell off my lap, on to the floor, and then he lost his balance and sat on it, creasing almost half the book. It took me a moment to process what had happened, and Ginny screamed.

"What hav you done to her/my book?!" Ginny and I screamed at Percy at the same time. He scrambled up from the floor, and then my world almost tore apart. The book was lying on the floor, half the book's pages creased, folded, and some even ripped. Ginny was to first to punch Percy right in the stomach, and I was so angry I wanted to kick him, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

"It's just a book." One of the boys Percy had been playing with scoffed.

I glared at him. "You hav NO idea how this feels." I said, pointing at my book.

"I-I'll buy you a new one!" Percy stammered.

"No thank you." I said coldly, walking off and putting the now broken book under my table before walking out the classroom. The class buzzed with whispers once I left.
