Hello! This is Twylish Gray. I don't really like people calling me Twylish cuz it sounds quite unique. So I prefer people calling me Twyla instead. My parents told me I was born in twilight, and that was how I got my name.

Just a little bit about myself, my father is a famous violinist, Darren Gray. Yep, that's him. My father is a mix with British and Japanese, and my mother Floranna is whole British, working as a singer and a seiyuu ((voice acting)) in that huge company with a well known manager, so she's often very tired when she gets back home. But I guess I'm lucky, because I grew up in a wealthy family. I grew up around music as well. My father started teaching me violin when I was 3, and I already received a diploma at the age of 10. I'm not bragging, but I already finished all ABRSM exams just a few months ago and guess what? A MARK away from Distinction!!! Just one mark!!! Ok I'm not bragging or anything but this is just totally not what I expected. I'm not bragging either so please don't hate me.

I don't really like my appearance though.. I have blonde hair with 3 hot pink highlights in it. All at the same part of my hair!! I didn't dye it, I was born with it. Weird isn't it? But I soon got used to it. My parents don't want it removed, because it'll be my "special part". People say I'm lucky, but I don't really like standing out. Doesn't really work with a world famous mother and father. Lol. I hav blue eyes like my mother, but my left eye was a bit darker blue that my right side. Again, works perfectly for not standing out. If you say I'm pretty, you're wrong.

The day after my 12th birthday, my father brought me to audition for the famous children symphony orchestra, The Hallowss!! I'd always loved that orchestra, not because they're talented, but because they're special by having such young children go on world tours and being part of a famous orchestra.

"You'll do it Twy, I know u can." My father patted my shoulder with such force my knees almost gave way. But I managed a nervous smile and nod.

"Twylish Gray." My name was heard from outside the auditioning room through the loudspeaker. After hugging my father, I entered the room alone, glancing back to see him smiling at me just before the doors closed. I lingered there for a moment, then a voice said, "Gray."

Merlin, that scared me. "Y-yes..?" I stammered, walking more towards the centre of the room. I noticed a black drape at the side of the room. To hide the examiner, maybe.

"Please stand on the 'x' in the centre of the room please." Eagerly, I stood on the x and clutched my violin tightly. "You may now begin playing your piece."

I notice a camera in the room facing me. No one was occupying it, yet I know it's recording everything I say and do. I lifted my violin and placed it between my chin and left shoulder.

Then I started playing. I didn't know what came over me, but my legs don't feel like jelly anymore. The world around me vanished and I was only focusing on my hands and the violin. The tune rang all around me. The world was silent. It felt like heaven.

I lifted my bow and opened my eyes. I was back in the audition room. The room was still silent, so I put down my violin slowly, nervous of the outcome.

After a while, I hear the sound of a chair scraping, and a man stepped out from behind the black drape. He was tall, wearing trousers and a t-shirt. His hair was kind of gelled up, and he has blue eyes, twinkling in the light.

He gave me a light smile. "That was very good, Twylish."

"Just call me Twyla." I interrupted, but covering my mouth instantly. I was being extremely impolite.

The man only chuckled a bit before continuing. "Twyla. I had never heard of such enchanting music before."

I froze. What?! Is this real?! I've never heard of any sincere comments except from my father. I always thought my music wasn't really that good and always kept on practicing, but never really perfect.

"It would be nice," he went on. "that you join our orchestra and be our soloist?"

My jaw dropped. A soloist?! I wouldn't have dreamt of joining this orchestra, much less being the soloist.

"But you will be our secret soloist, Twyla." He said, smiling. "No one will have the need to know until your first performance, except me and your parents of course."

I wanted to scream in happiness!! I'm actually entering!! "Yes yes of course!!" I burst out, smiling uncontrollably. "Oh thank you, THANK YOU!!" I cried loudly, jumping up and down a bit.

He nodded. "Then that will be settled. Please also call your parents in."

I rushed to the door and opened it. "Dad? Can you come in please?"

My father gave me a confused look, but followed me into the room. The man gave my father one look and took a few steps backwards, wide eyed with a shocked look on his face.

"Merlin's beard! It's the famous Darren Gray!!" He looked back and forth between us, controlled himself and cleared his throat.

"Uhm, as I was saying..."

"Nice to meet you too Mr. Dolohov." My father interrupted him, offering him his hand to shake. I gasped. This is the Martin Dolohov?!

Mr. Dolohov jumped a bit, and shook his hand. "You know me, Mr. Gray?"

"Why of course!! My daughter here has wanted to join your orchestra for years." Mr. Dolohov looked shocked for a moment. "Oh and you called me in because..?"

"Oh yes Mr. Gray." He said, maintaining into his old self. "Your daughter here has exceeded my expectations of getting into the orchestra. We will put her in Team A, the highest level and actually the oldest group, but her age will absolutely be no problem. We can adjust for this special occasion. We can totally accept such a music genius in our Team A orchestra. And she would be our secret soloist as well. No one will know about it except your family. And me."

My father looked at me proudly, which I returned with a smile. "Of course Mr. Dolohov."

"Thank you Mr. Dolohov!!" I bowed deeply.

"It's my honor, dear Twyla." He said, nodding with a huge smile.
