The room was a standard with a double bed, a TV and a couch. It wasn't too cramped, but it felt a bit awkward at first since we didn't really know each other. So when Sue wanted to have a shower, I felt relieved to be alone for a while. Then I remembered something, and picked up the phone that was standing on a table underneath the TV. It didn't take long until I heard the voice from the same receptionist who checked us in.

"Hotel Comfort Park, this is Harriet speaking. How can I help you?"

"Hi. It's Michael. I... We just checked in. I was wondering, do you have Corona?"

There was a moment of hesitation before she replied.

"No, sir. I just got tested, and..." she said slowly, but I was quick to correct myself.

"No, no. The beer. Do you have the beer named Corona?"

"Oooh," she exclaimed and giggled a bit. Then there was mumbling on the other end while she probably spoke with a colleague.

"Yes, Sir. We do."

"Great. May I have two Coronas... No, make that four. Four Coronas to room 410."

"The beer," I added, and the girl giggled again.

"Certainly, sir. We'll bring it right up."

"Thank you."

I hung up, sat back on the couch and crossed my ankles. I didn't bother to turn on the TV, which was why I heard the low humming from the bathroom. It made me smile. At the same time it made me painfully aware that there was a naked woman on the other side of the door.

"Don't even think about it," I mumbled to myself. But I couldn't help it. I hadn't been with a woman for almost a year, and then I'd been too drunk to remember much. I was definitely not proud of it, but I couldn't do anything about it now. I enjoyed being single anyway. Independent. Free.

And horny.

There was a knock on the door and I jumped up, happy to get the distraction that I needed. A cold beer was perfect after a week like this. I was definitely not planning on getting drunk. I wouldn't anyway. Not after two beers. Because the two others were for Sue. And I had just opened one and chugged down a solid mouthful, when I heard the bathroom door open behind me.

"Hey. Do you want a beeeh..."

My question got stuck in my throat when I turned to see her. She was wearing shorts and a tight tank top that didn't reveal anything to my imagination. She wasn't even wearing a bra.

"A beer?" she asked, and searched me with her eyes. She wasn't wearing any makeup now, and her hair was gathered in a messy, and slightly moist ball on top of her head. Was she doing this on purpose to affect me? Because it worked.

"Uhm... Yes," I mumbled and tore my eyes away from her.

"It's Corona."

Sue giggled and came closer. The vague scent of her shampoo made me inhale a bit deeper than I should, so I cleared my throat to focus on everything else but her. But I couldn't deny it anymore. I was attracted to her. Bad news. Really bad news.

"I don't really like beer," she admitted, and I felt dumb for not asking her earlier.

"Oh, sorry. I can order a bottle of wine instead, if you want? Not that I'm trying to get you drunk or anything. I just really needed a beer right now... Which I don't do very often. A couple of times a month maybe, and I don't really like to get drunk."

It annoyed me that I was babbling, but I couldn't help it. I didn't want her to think I was a creep, yet what I just said made me sound like one.

"It's okay," she giggled. Neither of us had our masks on, so I couldn't help but to notice when she bit her bottom lip.
