PROLOGUE

"I will not let him go, kahit ano pa ang sabihin mo!!!" I shouted as I step out of our house and run as fast as I can.

I need to see him, hindi ako papayag na masira kami ni Mom, she has no right to decide what's best for me. All my life was already controlled by her, I think this is the right time to stand for myself and for him.

I will fight for our love and nothing's gonna stop me from doing this.

He had already spent whole his life following my family's rules, he didn't have the chance to choose what he wants and what he love because of this fucking indebtedness he felt, and my mother made him feel that.

This time I will stand for him and fight for him, I'm not afraid of losing anything right now just to be with him.

He was the freedom I need, in his arms I feel nothing but love. His kisses made me feel like nothing gonna hurt me anymore. His simple touch matters, his happiness is my dream.

I'll free him to the chain that locks him in, I will save him in any way I can...

Wait for me Love...

I run as fast as I can until I reach the gate of our subdivision and quickly ride the taxi.

"Saan po tayo Ma'am?" the Driver asks while looking at the view mirror.

I sniff and wipe my tears up and speak, "Delavine's Condominium please" I said and look at the window, still busy wiping my tears and caressing my numb and swollen cheeks.

My cheek feels like it's beating on its own and numbness surrounds the other half of my face.

After a minute, the taxi stops in front of Delavine's Condo and I hurriedly pay for the charges and quickly step out of the car and run inside.

"Miss Chantel bakit ho kayo andito?" I stop when one of the employees approached me.

"I need to see Kace," I said and run-pass past him, he called my name, but I didn't look back, he was not the reason why I'm here so I focused on the way to Kace's pad.

I was running through the elevator and still hear someone call my name, I ignored it and run faster but my heels suddenly broke their heel. "Fuck!" I haze and quickly remove both of my heels and run with my bare feet.

I immediately push the button to close the elevator as I step in; quickly push the 9th floor where his room lies.

My hands were shaking while my feet feel freezing because I was standing on the cold floor of this fully air-conditioned building. I hugged myself a bit to loosen the coldness and wait for this elevator to open.

I endure the pain beating on my numb face and aching red eyes, I cried so hard that it hurts my eyes already.

I keep sobbing the whole time until the elevator door opens; I hurriedly step out and walk fast to his room. My hand feels so cold.

My heart suddenly pound so fast, as I took every step near to his room. Heavyweight suddenly falls on my chest. I stop when I hear the staff calling me again. "Really? He still followed me?" I whisper with disbelief.

I ignored him once again and continue walking as fast as I can, I can't run any more my feet are freezing.

When I stand in front of his door, my heart race so fast and it's hard for me to breathe.

"Miss Chantel!!!!" the guy still calls me and runs towards my place, so I didn't bother to knock on the door and hurriedly open it then lock it.

The lights were off, only the light from the moon creates dim lights inside the whole place. It seems so silent and my heart keeps on pounding.
