Day 2 of 12 days of Christmas! An imagine a day up until Christmas eve ☆
Writing Christmas lists was the best. Writing down all the things you wished for in hopes that Santa would deliver them on christmas day.
When you turned up to kies house with a bag full of glitter pens, glitter glue and all things sparkly in order to decorate your lists you could tell kiara wasn't in the mood. She had been stressed over these past few days as her dad was keeping her behind at the wreck to work a few extra hours as it was getting closer to Christmas, one of the very few times of the year a lot of money would be made by the family business.
"What are you doing here y/n?" The girl groaned, opening the door.
"I came to cheer you up" you smiled, stepping inside.
"Cheer me up how?" She asked curiously looking throigh your bag. "With glitter and stickers?"
"No silly" you giggled. "We're writing letters to Christmas. I thought maybe writing down all the good things that you wished for this year might take your mind off of things for a few hours."
She walked you through her house and into the kitchen, placing your bag on the marble counter.
"Have I ever told you how much I appreciate you?" She asked taking a seet.
"You do sometimes" you teased.
She tipped out the content of your bag revealing every thing you had. She picked out a red piece of paper and green glitter pen to write down what she wanted. You did the same, picking out a green piece of coloured paper and a red pen.
A nice, comfortable silence filled the air between the two of you.
You looked over at her and you could see how concentrated she was. She had her tongue sticking out, focusing, as she wrote down neatly what she wanted. She would occasionally move her hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear.
Your list was very unrealistic being in the position you were on the island, you wished for a big house and to somewhat earn a lot of money when you were older, also adding that you just wanted everyone to be happy and healthy at the end. It's all you could ask for.
"I think I'm finished" kiara said getting your attention.
"Oh yeah?" You smiled.
"Yeah" she nodded. "I didn't ask for much"
"Well what did you ask for?" You asked curiously.
"I can't tell you that otherwise it might not come true and want a won't being me what he wants now will he" she laughed.
"Damn it" you laughed. "Give me a clue?"
"Nope. No. Neverrrrr" she tried playfully.
"Alright then" you sighed in defeat.
Both of you sealed your lists in an envelope, writing the address "the north pole" on the front.
Getting up from your seat you grabbed your coat and put it on.
"Going so soon?" Kie asked.
"No silly" you said looking at her. "We have to post our letters to santa."
She agreed to go with you to hand the letters in to the post office, to be put in the mail and to be sent away. She grabbed a jacket and you both left her house.
You decided between the two of you to walk instead of taking the car. It wasn't too cold out but it wasn't the nicest either. For the first time in years it was expected tgat snow would be falling on the island over winter and you couldn't wait.
Getting to the post office, you payed for stamps and put them in your letters and then put them in the mail box just outside.
"Thank you for today y/n" kie said grabbing your hand.
"You're welcome" you replied, holding onto her hand.
"I really needed it and it's actually made me feel better after all the stress. I rea lky appreciate it" she smiled.
"You're welcome. that's what I'm here for, right?" You said placing a soft kiss on her cheek, watching as she blushed a light shade of pink.
