Redamancy

Chapter 31

Eloise POV

The party was beginning to wind down when Eloise snuck up to her and Loki's room. He had been laughing with Tony and Sam when she had left the room. She quickly showered and slipped into bed in one of his shirts, hoping he wouldn't be too long. She did sleep better when he slept with her. She closed her eyes, waiting to Loki's cool skin against hers. She didn't have to wait long. "Did you honestly think you were going to slip away without me noticing?" As his hands crept over her body pulling her to him. She kept her eyes closed, just enjoying the pleasure of being skin to skin with Loki. Oh I hoped you'd notice. He nuzzle her neck, moving her hair out of the way of her neck. I need you his voice sounded so lost and worried.  Hey whats going on?"  She tried to roll over but Loki held her in place. I just don't want to feel you being that scared ever again. Please promise me you will be safe. 

She thought about what had happened that night, Loki, I wasn't afraid of being attacked, I was angry, I wanted to destroy her and Thanos and then I realized how out of control I was and when I tried to pull my magic I realized part of me didn't want to. Part of me wanted to give in and accept that darkness and make them pay. She admitted to him. That's why I was scared. I was ready to give in so quickly. It was heady and powerful and I had no idea how to stop.  She realized in looking at his thoughts he hadn't gotten much of a look at what had happened cause her own feelings had been so chaotic.  Loki would you show me our wedding? She decided maybe a change of subject might be best.

Loki POV

Loki was surprised, it actually had not occurred to him that it would have been alot easier to simply show her their life together now that they could communicate by thought again.  He let her roll over and she faced him.  Of course  he thought back to the happiest day of his life. He thought back to that night, he hadn't been sure she would even say yes, let alone agree to marry him that minute,  he had taken her to walk in her favorite gardens, candles floating everywhere, only Odin, Frigga, and Thor in attendance. He had presented her with a beautiful radiant cut emerald, she had been shocked and immediately said yes before he could even finish asking her, he had spun her around changing her dress into a stunning deep green dress, sleeves trailing the ground, her eyes burning with emotion in the candle light. I can't imagine anything better  she added dismayed, I wish I could remember it.

"My trip to Asgard wasn't completely worthless.  It didn't include the details but some how you should be able to get them back." Loki laid his head against hers. "Once we're safe, we'll figure it out." She yawned. "Come on, time for sleep." He said snuggling her.

Eloise POV

"Mo leanbh, wake up mo leanbh." She felt her shoulder being shaken, "huh? Whats going on?" "Come, we haven't much time." The big scottish man pulled her to her feet, she looked down, she had been sleeping among the roots of a great tree. "Where are we going?" She asked, stumbling, trying to keep up with him. "A magical place, mo leanbh, you need to come here soon." He called after him, she started jogging to try to catch him. "Where is here?" He was running ahead of her now and she was sprinting after him. "A fairy pool, in the Isle of Skye." She had lost sight of him around a corner, when she ran around the corner she fell face first into into a pool of vivid green water.

As her face in the water, she woke up sitting up in bed. She took a deep breath, Loki was still sleeping peacefully.  She touched his face gently, he looked so peaceful in sleep, all the weight of his worries gone from his face, the wary look he had gone. She scooted away from him careful not to jostle him. She grabbed her laptop and began to arrange the contingency plan, a safe place for them to go, better to do it now cause who knows how long going to the Isle of Skye would take. After a few hours, she had found the perfect property and everything was arranged. It was about nearly sunrise now, she laid back down next to Loki, watching the sun rays slowly touching his face, soaking in his beauty. "Weren't you ever taught its rude to stare?" He said without opening his eyes, stretching. "Pretty sure its somewhere in our marriage contract that I'm allowed to stare all I want." She teased him, ruffling his hair.

A little while later, she was out front with Loki and Thor, waiting on Bucky. "Here," she handed them each a silver bracelet. "Not exactly my style," Loki raised an eyebrow, holding up the bracelet, she rolled her eyes, "Don't get cocky with me, you have magic so you can change it to what ever you want. Its magic," she held up a wrist showing she had one too. "Think of it as a magical GPS. Also this," she held out a small phone, "Just ask a back up." She watched him put the bracelet on and change it to a wider silver band and put the phone in his pocket. "2 days, thats all you get and then I'm coming to get you. " Loki grabbed her suddenly, bending his head to her ear, "I look forward to getting cocky with you all I wish." He whispered, grinning. "I look forward to it." She kissed him. "Sister, be safe." Thor grabbed her in a bear hug. "Tell Jane I say hi." She returned the hug with all her strength. She smiled at them and then slipped on Loki's long leather jacket and with a wave of her hand it shrank and fit to her, turning into a short jacket and a motorcycle appeared next to her. She jumped on it, grinning at the brothers, whose mouths were both open as Bucky pulled up next to her. "Eloise," Loki said in a low warning tone, Bucky buzzed by her and she took off.

Loki POV

Thor roared with laughter, watching Eloise drive off on the motorcycle. "You must admit brother, she is your equal in everyway." "You're wrong, she's better than me." Loki gave a half smile. What happened to being safe?  He let his worry come across to her. Relax, I've been riding these for years. She flashed him a memory of her riding on a smaller motorcycle when she was about 12. Think of them like mechanical horses. But you weren't all that great at riding horses,  he quipped.  Well yeah they are alive, they have their own thoughts and opinions. She disapproved and he felt her focus back on the road. Go, so you can come back sooner, she mentally blew him a kiss.
