chapter 1

"Please daddy" Emily begged pouting at her father

"Em come on, your mother won't approve of this" Richard Prentiss stated

"Dad, I don't want to start a new school, we are just going too leave again." 

"I'll take you out riding after school." Richard said knowing his daughter had a weakness for horses.

"Fineeeeee" Emily huffed as she got out the car

"good luck EmGem" Richard called out " I love you"

15 minutes before 1st period

"Emily Prentiss" a petite lady called out in the main office

"That's me" Emily stated as she straightened out her skirt 

"calm down sweetie, your going to be just fine" the lady told Emily as they walked into the principles office

Emily sat down in one of the two chairs in front of Mrs. Andersons desk nervously picking at her thumbs

"Wow Emily you have quite the list going on here" Mrs. Anderson said referring to Emily's achievements both academics and sports

"Thanks" Emily replied shyly

"Well your father has called and said that at your previous school you were learning at a year above you age group" she paused as she watched Emily nod her head yes

"would you like to continue learning at that level or would you prefer to learn at the level as the rest of your age group?" the older woman asked

"I'd like to continue at the stage I am at currently please." Emily said

"well then" she handed emily her sqedual " Lets get you too your first class." 

she stood and Emily followed her through the halls of the large private school walking into a chemistry class.

"students this is Emily Prentiss she is our newest Student" the principle said turning on her heels and walking out of the class. Emily stood the Awkwardly playing with the hem of her blazer.

"Ah Ms Prentiss I've been expecting you" The teacher said 

"You can take a seat in the second row next too Mr Hotchner" he said pointing to the open seat at the high bench 

Emily walked over sitting down trying to calm her nerves.  'Anxiety is a bitch she thought' as she took her books out

6 periods later Emily was walking towards the Exit of the school excited for her afternoon with her father. 

"Hey, Emily wait up!" A voice called from behind her. 

"Aaron Hotchner" he stuck his hand out " sorry I didn't say hi in 1st Mr Daniels is quick to qick out talkers" Aaron said shaking Emilys hand showing her his dimples

"Emily Prentiss and don't worry about it." 

"are you walking south?" he asked

"I am"

"good. I'll walk with you."

3 weeks later 

Emily was at her 5th training for the schools Elite Girls Soccer team

"Hey stop staring at Emilys ass" Aaron said as he hit Dean Jnr 'DJ' over the head

"what man shes cute" he replied

"that doesn't matter" hotchner said as he increased his pace finishing his final lap around the soccer field he too was in the Schools Elite Boys Soccer Team

Emily hear their conversation from where she stood 12 feet away. Emily and Aaron had bonded over their love for the sport and quickly became friends they has 3 other classes together along as chemistry. 

after practice Aaron was walking her home

"Hey, thanks for calling out DJ. you didn't have too " Emily said slowing down her pace as they arrived at the embassy 

"I know but he shouldn't of done that Em" Aaron replied.

Emily smiled sweetly at him and kissed his cheek before she walked through the gates.

Aaron stood there and traced where she placed the kiss with his fingertips 'huh maybe she does feel the same way' he thought
