Chapter 7 - Moving In

*The next morning*

I woke up to my alarm. It was 7:30. I have rehearsals bright and early today at 8:30. I forgot that I was in my own bedroom, and I felt different being in my bed. I don't sleep in it much, and if I'm being completely honest, Lin's is more comfortable.

I was super tired. I didn't really get much sleep because I got home late last night. It took me a while to get out of bed. I checked the time again.

8:00am

Okay, now I really have to get ready.

I walked to the kitchen and made myself some coffee. I didn't really have enough time to make myself an actual meal, so I just grabbed an apple and a breakfast bar.

I went to my bedroom and picked out a black short sleeve shirt, a dark green jacket, and some blue jeans. I walked to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I forgot that I have most of my essentials at Lin's house, so I couldn't wash my face. Damn it. I managed to find an extra toothbrush and some toothpaste, so I brushed my teeth. Of course I don't have my straightener, so I just brushed my hair and called it a day. I grabbed a white/tannish bag and put some other essentials in it like some deodorant, a hairbrush, some snacks, my phone, my script, two water bottles, and some other things. I put on my shoes.

I almost forgot my hat! I quickly grabbed my dark green fedora. I grabbed my keys and left the apartment.

I arrive at rehearsals and see no one in there. Umm? I think.

''Hello?'' I say, my voice echoing.

No response.

Crap, am I late??

''Helloooo?''

I check the clock, and it says 9:30am. I'm 30 minutes early.

Everyone is normally here early! Maybe they're slee-

''BOO!''

''AHHHHHHHH!'' I scream and find Anthony, Jazzy, Renee, Lin and the rest of the cast jump out of covered spaces. Oh my gosh. How would they know I came now?

''Why would you do that!'' I laugh.

''Because, you always arrive at exactly 9:30am. And it got a little annoying about how you're always 30 minutes early. So Anthony had the idea of scaring you.'' said Jazzy.

I frown with my mouth hanging open. ''How is that annoying?''

''Because, man, that's like 30 minutes early it's just so.. Clean.'' Anthony chuckled.

''Well- you arrive at like 5am so-''

''OOOOOOO'' the cast says grinning at Anthony.

He gives me a look and says ''No I don't. I just arrive at different times.''

''What even is this conversation?'' Lin laughs.

''I don't know.''

''So Pippa, why didn't you have pizza last night?''

My eyes open wide and I try to think of an excuse.

''Because I didn't feel like pizza. I was pretty full.'' I say nervously.

''Hold up.'' Renee puts her hand up. ''Didn't you say it was because you didn't feel like having carbs? And that you were somewhere else or something?''

OH NO! How do I get out of this??

''No! She actually was full, she ate somewhere else, but um- didn't eat it all. But she did not want carbs.'' Lin backs me up.
