Chapter 10 - Unexpectedly Expected News

Note: it is now 2014- and has been around the last few chapters- just pretend it went into the new year haha

*About a week or two later*

Pip

I woke up, nausea all over my body. I sprung out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I spilled all the contents of what I had eaten in the last 24 hours into the toilet. I felt horrible.

I sat there, clenching my stomach and vomiting.

Lin

I woke up to the sound of gagging and ran to the bathroom to see what was going on. I saw Pippa, over the toilet, vomiting. I immediately sat by her side and rubbed her back.

"Hey baby, are you okay?" I asked, concerned.

"No." She said, in a weakened voice.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" I asked her, as I rubbed her back and kissed her head.

"No, just hold me."

"Okay." I said as she cuddled up to me. I kissed her once more. We sat there for a couple minutes.

"How about I get you situated on the couch?"

"Sure." She said as I helped her off the floor and walked her to the couch.

"I'll go get you some water."

"Okay, thanks."

I walked to the kitchen and got a cup of ice water. I then brought it back to Pippa, who was laying there, helplessly. Her face looked pale. I hated seeing her sick, it made me feel bad. And there really wasn't anything I could do about it except be there to comfort her.

She took a couple sips of her water and rested her eyes.

*A couple hours later*

Pip

It's been a couple of hours since I got sick, and I was able to stomach some food. I also felt a lot better. I took a nap and watched some TV as Lin went out.

I thought for a bit. I don't remember what I did that could've possibly got me sick. Then I realized. I immediately got on my phone and texted the groupchat with Nae and Jas.

Pip: Guys. I think I might be pregnant.

Nae: Huh? How come?

Pip: I've been sick all morning, and my period is overdue.

Jas: Did you and Lin fu-

Pip: Shit. Come over please. Now.

Nae: On my way, I'm bringing tests.

Jas: Same here.

A couple minutes later, they arrived.

"Here's a stick. We'll wait out here." Renee said as she handed me the test.

I grabbed it and walked into the bathroom. After I took it, I waited a couple of minutes. Renee and Jas walked into the bathroom and waited with me.

"So.. did you and-"

"Well why else would I be taking the test, Jasmine?"

"Well, did you not use protection?" She asked, with confusion.

"We-we.." shit. I think. Did we not use protection?!

"Oh my god.. I don't think we did.."
