Chapter 10

When Tonton left the unit, everything changed. One is good pero hahanap-hanapin ko 'yong pangalawa. Ang sabi ng iba, mas better daw for a woman to find a mature and older men like ilang taon ang agwat—not a sugar daddy. And for me, hindi naman masama na medyo bata ang guy like I'm just two years older than Tonton so that won't be a trouble for us but he left and then I was left with this human being who has a shiny, impeccable sausage.

It's seven in the morning and I'm waiting for Trent to leave so I can chika all day with Sasa.

Then a moment later, I saw my boss coming out of the corner with his very alarmingly, sexy corporate suit. His neat, brushed up hair makes him more look so appealing. Every goddamn day, he gets so better. Hindi ako nagsasawa but Tonton is a different side of dish and he added spice from Trent's rawness.

And when he got closer to me ay umayos ako ng pagkakatayo ko at nilagay ang kamay ko sa likuran ko.

"Good morning, sir," pagbati ko sa kanya saka ako yumuko.

"I'll be coming home late tonight," he said. "I have loads of meetings today."

"I understand, sir," I said. "Do you have any request? Will you be having dinner here tonight?"

"I'm not sure," tipid pa nitong sagot sa akin. "But I'll let you know."

"Sir... uh... can I fix your tie? It's crooked."

"What?"

"Let me fix this for you," I said and leaned closer to him. It didn't even take me too long kaya lumayo na ako ng kaunti sa kanya. "Ayan mukha ka ng may-asawa."

He smirked. "What you just said again?"

I shook my head with a smile on my face. "Wala ho sir. Not a big deal."

"No, you said something," he insisted. "But I'll let it go 'cause I have a question for you and I want your honest answers."

I pressed my lips when I don't have any idea where this conversation will go. Would it be personal or something I should prepare myself?

"How was Tonton when he was here?" he asked.

"He's fine..."

"And then?"

Why would he be asking for more?

But he's looking at me so intently na tila nag-aabang pa ng sasabihin ko. "And he's very kind."

"Am I not?"

"No, sir. Don't get me wrong. You are! You are kind!"

"And why are you shouting at me?"

Natigilan ako ng bahagya sa sinabi niya. "Sir... I'm not," mahinahon kong tugon sa kanya. "I'm not shouting."

"Well, it sounds like you are. Do you want me to fire you?"

"Sumimasen... I'm sorry I didn't mean to call you on your name, sir. I shouldn't have done that."
