Chapter 3: Strange

     I widened my eyes when I heard the crazed giggles coming from the back of the room.  The terrifyingly insane giggles sent cold shivers down my spine which made me slightly shiver in terror.  I tried backing away but I accidentally made a squeak of surprise when I almost slipped on the tiled floor of the hallway.  I silently prayed to not get caught by 'Cyrus'.  The minute she turned around, I panicked and looked into her eyes.  It felt like I froze.  I finally regained my composure and ran down the hallway to the main entrance.

I slammed my hands down on the desk which startled the man at the desk and shouted at him.

"What happened to Cyrus?!"

*Cyrus's POV*

"Ugh my back hurts. I'll take medicine for it later." I said after I woke up. I got out of bed and went into my bathroom to take a shower. After I took a shower and got dressed I went to brush my teeth. "Mmm that toothpaste tasted good." I said. When I looked in the mirror I noticed something different about me but I just couldn't pin on what it was. "Oh well could be nothing." I brushed the feeling off.

-At the cafeteria-

After I got my breakfast I sat down at a random table. I felt a presence behind me so I turned around and saw Trenth getting ready to try and scare me. "Hey Trenth what are you doing?" I asked. "Uh n-nothing!" He stuttered and blushed a little. "Aw you're so cute when you blush! Also where's the others!" I said. "Oh! They're getting breakfast right now." He answered. After he said that the others appeared. "Hey guys! C'mon sit down!" I said. "Okay!" They said at once.

*Trenth's POV*

When Cyrus turned to look at me when I was behind her She looked a bit different in some way like in her aura or something. "Hey can anyone eat more than 5 really hot chilies at once?" I said.

"Hell yeah! Let's try it!" Jake said. When I looked over to Cyrus her eyes had that same color she had yesterday while she wasn't herself. "Hey Cyrus? Can you face me for a second?" I asked. "Huh? Okay." She said. When she turned to look at me I still saw that color. "Maybe I should try something..." I thought. I faced Her and I leaned in to kiss her. I felt her relax and kiss me back and after a few seconds I pulled away. When I looked back I looked at her eyes and I noticed the color was gone.

She blushed and played with her food. "Okay... back to discussing about the chili contest! Now who's up for it?" Lona said.

"OH!! ME!!!" All of us said at once. "Okay! Now let's get some chili!" Lona said. I'll keep what I saw about what Cyrus seemed like to myself...

After we got 15 chilies we started to eat them quickly. "Omg my mouth is gonna explode!" Heth said. Then Cyrus and Lona started to choke and we kept laughing. When we were done eating the chilies we went back to eating our food. "Oh yeah do you remember the last three days Cyrus?" Dem asked Cyrus a little suspiciously. "Uh I thi- AGH! UGH WHY DO I HAVE A FUCKING HEADACHE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Cyrus yelled. Everyone stared at our table with questioning looks on their faces. We saw Cyrus stand up and run quickly out of the cafeteria and we went to follow her but when we opened the doors we didn't see her.

*Cyrus's POV*

While in the secret room I found near the cafeteria I suddenly blacked out and I thought I was in a dream of some sort.

"Ah I see you got my message didn't you?" Someone asked. "Who are you and where am I?!" I asked. "Well you see it is time for you to remember some things." It said. "What are you talking abo-" I said after being cut off by seeing images flashing in front of me. "Now you saw the things you did when you don't remember anything when you made the deal." It said. "But who are you though? SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME!!!" I yelled while crying. Right in front of me appeared a man who looked around my age. "Is this who you are?" I said while stepping back. His eyes dark purple eyes shone with amusement. "Yes this is me. You know why don't you look in this mirror. And right after he said that a mirror appeared right in front of me. "Why do I have the same color eyes as you?" I questioned him. "Oh as you see I am connected to you in a way." He said while smirking. "No one has eyes like that...What are you?" I asked. "As you can see we're supernatural beings that are call Prems which include that we have magic and have a few spiritual benefits." He explained. "By the way what is your name?" I asked. "My name is Renton." He answered. "Oh by the way you have to get your memories from 4 and a half years ago too!" He said and snapped his fingers and after I got the memories back I just stood there crying. "Aw Cyrus there is no need for you to cry." Renton said while standing in his spot with his arms open. I looked at him and I ran into his arms automatically. "Stop crying your too pretty to cry. And don't worry you already have me." He said. When I was going to question him I went limp in his arms and drifted to a deep sleep...
