What she didn't notice, was that in the moment she was staring blankly at her bracelet, something was being carved onto her right hand. Though it seemed to be painful, Lona didn't feel the pain of a gold dagger being dragged across her smooth skin. But it bloodied message carved onto her hand said, "The Chain will continue."

《With Lona

Lona sighed as she sat on her hospital bed and stared at the strange wound on her hand.

For the last 5 minutes, Lona was staring at her slightly irritated skin on her hand with the words. Before, when Lona was staring at the bracelet for about 3 minutes like she was in a trance. But when the three minutes were done, she felt an extreme pain travel from her right hand to up her arm. Then she payed attention. Of course, she pressed the 'call' button to get a nurse tend to the angry red hand that was flowing a lot of blood. Now, she was trying to look through the bandages that were soaked in some of her blood. She couldn't read it before because the blood was covering it. When she finally gave up, she thought of the words Alicia said. 'It's too late. He's gone.' The words ran through her mind over and over again. Silent tears were streaming down her face as she was thinking of Dem. She reached over to the table and got her phone and speed-dialed Heth.

"Hello? Lona? Where are you?" Heth said through the phone.

"Yeah, it's me. I just wanna ask something. Is Dem home?" She asked, anxiousness overflowing.

When she asked that, Heth was silent for a while which made her worried.

"No." Heth said softly, which Lona almost missed.

"Oh. W-what happened?" She stuttered, slightly choking on the lump forming in her throat.

"We don't know. All we found was a message that was written in blood. It said, "The CHAIN will continue." Heth said.

When he said that, Lona breath hitched in realization that the same message was on her hand. She unconsciously tightened her right hand into a shaking fist.

"Lona? You there?" He asked, worried that something happened to her.

"I'm here. Did you find anything?" Lona answered, gathering up the courage to answer back.

"No. But sadly, me, Renton, and Trenth found out that the blood was Dem's." he said.

At that, the tears that were building up in her eyes, freely went down her already tear-stained face.

"But we did find him though." Heth answered.

Lona sighed and released her vices-grip on the thin sheets on the hospital bed.

"As I said, where are you?" Heth asked once again.

"Ah, I'm in the hospital. Apparently I had a seizure when I was just supposed to get my head checked." She answered wiping her eyes and face with the white blankets.

"Oh. Want me and Renton to get you out? If you're fine, that is." He said.

"Nah, I can get home myself. Anyways just bring my car around to the hospital, though."

"Sure. I'll go get your car to you."

"Thanks, bye." Lona said and hung up.

In a few minutes Lona got herself checked again and payed the hospital . She got out and listened to the birds chirping while walking to her car.

When she arrived at the three story mansion she parked in the garage and went into the house.

"I'm back!" Lona shouted as she took off her blue sneakers and hung her lather jacket on the hook.

She walked to the sitting room and saw that Heth and Renton were playing something on the Xbox.

Heth got up to greet her but when he finished hugging her, he accidentally touched the slightly fresh wound on her hand.

"What the hell is that on your hand?!" Heth shouted as he roughly took the hand with the strange message on and observed it closely.

"I have no idea. It just appeared out of nowhere bleeding gallons. I tried to heal it but it just stayed like this and never got better. I could only wash the blood off. It's like almost like a tattoo." Lona said as she too, looked at the swollen red hand. When Renton came in the room and saw her hand he quickly observed it.

"Enchanted gold." Renton mumbled as he looked at the damage.

"Enchanted what? I thought the magic used to form it was destroyed." Heth asked Renton.

"We do have one here for safe keeping. Follow me please." Renton said and led them down the many hallways and into the basement. When Renton turned on the lights, everything was in a huge mess. Boxes thrown across the room, some lightbulb pieces were found the the cement floor, paint buckets were either knocked over or opened and spilled everywhere.

"What the hell happened in here?" Renton mumbled as he looked around the room. But when his now indigo eyes fell upon a ripped open wall, his eyes almost looked like they were going to pop out of his head!

"Damn it! They found the room." Renton growled and stepped into the huge gaping hole in the wall. The other two followed him as they walked down the damp tunnel. The three of them finally came to a metal door. But it didn't seem to be a metal door anymore because it seemed to be half turned into dust. Renton scowled at the damage in the destroyed room but he continued on to a glass case that was smashed open and paper talisman on the floor mixed in with the shards of clear glass.

He looked into the case and found that it was empty besides the cushion that was used to hold the dagger in place. He sighed in frustration and turned towards the teenagers who were looking around the room.

"Someone took the dagger." Renton said blankly and the two teenagers quickly turned their heads at his direction.

"Who?" Lona and Heth asked at the same time.

"I have no idea. Well I can't find any clues around here." Renton said, dejected.

"But, where's Dem?" Lona asked the two males.

"Uh, he's in his room. You can go see him, but he's still healing so don't get him worked up." Renton said and Lona flashed to Dem's room.

"Should we tell her what happened?" Heth said, it looked like he was talking but there was another voice from his mouth that was a bit deeper sounding.

"We aren't in contract with her. So no. But why not fool her into thinking we're actually those idiots?" Again, another voice resounded from Renton's mouth. Suddenly, the two transformed into their real looks.

"Well I do know we can play around with that lower ranked being until everything goes into place." The second person said to his companion.

"Sure. Now, let's hurry up. We don't want her ruining the plan." The stranger said and disappeared into thin air and the other person disappeared as well.

Next Time...

"Ugh. Ultimate migraine coming on here." Lona groaned as she sat up from her bed. She walked to her own bathroom and looked through the cabinets for aspirin. When she found it, Lona swallowed the pill and drank some fresh water from a bottle, she suddenly began to feel a electrocution feeling run through her whole body. She crashed to the ground, unconscious.
