Chapter 12-

Confession

Yibo never in his dreams would even think there will be a day where he will struggle to confess, he was confident that he would confess to his love of the life by looking into their eyes pulling them into a longing kiss as the other person would not refuse. He has never been interested in engaging into romantic relationship as he wanted to study well and help his brother manage Family business but here comes the blue moon and the confident male is in dilemma

"Whatever happens- happens. If he says yes I'll take care of him for the rest of our lives if he says no I'll take care of him for the rest of my life in side lines. I'll be okay" Yibo gave himself a pep talk

As they are done with their dinner through the dim light Yibo cleaned the table. Tummy filled happy Zhan looked at Yibo

"This is such a Truth or dare mood, Bodi come sit" something flashed in Yibo's eyes when he heard that, Zhan can't point a finger

Yibo sat next to Zhan in the same couch leaving a bit of space inbetween mind filled with questions he's curious about Xiao Zhan "Zhange let's not do dare in the dark it's not safe" the only dare I'm willing to do is kiss you ge but I don't think it's appropriate so let's not for my sake sighed Yibo mindlessly thinking inappropriate stuff about his angel

"No fun" pouted Zhan "let's truffle truth out of you" Yibo chuckled at Zhan's cuteness nodded his head agreeing to anything Zhan says

Zhan was wondering what to ask he can't ask anything about family as it's super personal unless they start that conversation Zhan wouldn't touch that topic and he knows basic from their last game time " tell me your pet peeve" Zhan was sure it would be something funny

"Make up" said Yibo, Zhan was surprised to hear this " what wrong with make up it's cute?"

"Little make up is fine but people change appearance and it scares me" Yibo explained his worst case scenario where he once met a 40year old man dressed as 25year old girl and proposed to him when he refused the man peeled of a layer of skin to kiss Yibo still gives him a fright

Zhan laughed at him " poor baby chased by perverts"

To stop Zhan from teasing more Yibo continued with the game " how many kids would you like to raise in future?" Yibo can't stop himself he needs to know these for future reference

Zhan was intrigued " three probably I like the house lively" raised by foster care Zhan doesn't like to be alone he always wishes to be with a group to make him feel warm and safe " now my turn If you were to be a cartoon character which one would you choose?"

" Cartoon huh? Jack Frost" answered yibo. Zhan thought makes sense justifying your nick name - Ice prince. Frequenting the cafe and being friends with Jiyang and Hao Xuan the couple gossip giving few insight about Yibo how the ice prince puts up with ride Customer and how once time he rejected a very beautiful girl who looked confident that Yibo would accept she went into shock for 5whole minutes mouth wide open,  Zhan liked Yibo's character.

"What is your ideal type Zhange?" Yibo asked hoping to fit the criteria. Zhan's lipsb drew a smile at that "I like guys so he has to be caring, slender, pretty and confident guys" I knew the first part Yibo sighed thinking about the later part 'i am slender and I care a lot about Zhange so I'm eligible' good!

"What are your plans for the future?" asked Zhan curious as he heard Zhan went to the elite University

"I plan to work with brother, I start my internship next week  you won't be seeing me later" Zhan didn't think much intership days are always hard. Sigh.

While they were speaking the dim light from the mobile disappeared giving Yibo fright again. Zhan held Yibo's shoulder for comfort " it's okay I'm here concentrate on my presence alone"

Yibo was touched at Zhan's kindness. Feeling tired from sitting in the same position Zhan leaned down on the couch pulling Yibo next to him, they are now laying on a long couch, so close to each other forehead almost touching. They enjoyed each other's warmth through the dark in a comforting silence each consumed with their own thoughts

Half an hour later gathering up his courage within Zhan's arms Yibo faced Zhan looked at his eyes which was closed " Zhange ~" Yibo's voice was soothing. Zhan opened his eyes looking at Yibo he hummed

"I have something to say" Yibo still looked handsome in the dark from the trace of moonlight

Zhan hummed again to let Yibo continue eyes locker into Yibo's

"I'm not- that- I'm tra- no no i- " Yibo struggled lips quivering

"Bodi~ you can say anything it's okay" Zhan's tone was soft and comforting

"I'm no no I - Yibo like Zhan ge so so much will you let me take care of you ge" Yibo confessed sincerely feeling relieved letting it out

" Bodi " Zhan's tone still low but not comforting with that Yibo realised his answer. With quivering lips shining eyes he kept repeating 'it's okay it's okay'

" I like you too Bodi but I have someone in my heart"

"Forgive Gege  for I'm undeserving of didi in this life" Yibo's angel even more kind when hurting him that he cannot even think about regret nor displeased.

Yibo turned from facing Zhan still in his arms eyes closed silent tears wetting the handsome face, pink lips bitten to not let out the hurt, heart heavy from the rejection both fell asleep into the silent night
