The sleigh and tornado stood next to each other on the white blanketed ground as the occupants of both vehicles stood in a small circular group before them.
"So...eggman...I suppose i should say thanks for saving my life". Sonic spoke with a smirk and reached out his hand for the other to shake.
"Don't mention it rat. Seriously. Don't". He replied with a similar grin and slowly shook the hedgehogs hand.
"Ho ho ho ho"! A jolly belly laugh boomed from behind the two.
The pair spun around to look at two mobians and one large man. A two tailed fox held his coat tightly to himself with a smile, a black and red striped hedgehog gave a small nod to them with his hands tucked behind his back. In the middle a circular human held his hips as a smile gleamed on his face.
"I believe this is yours eggman". Santa spoke and pulled out a neatly red wrapped present.
Sonic looked up at the said human and gave him a pat on the back along with a smile to go forward.
"F...for me"? He asked in disbelief.
Santa only gave a nod and placed the gift in his hands.
"Thank you". He muttered before stepping back.
"I must thank you three for helping me with Christmas tonight".
"Of cause Santa". Sonic gave a thumbs up before wrapping an arm around his little brother.
"It was our pleasure Santa". The young genius continued.
"I best be on my way".
The four waved him off as they watched him jump into his sleigh and take off.
"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blixen! To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! dash away! dash away all"! He calls before going out of sight.
As the four walk back through the city they begin to notice small and big changes. Christmas lights made a new appearance across the many buildings lined up besides the pavements and citizens of many appearances began to shuffle out onto the streets.
"You guys did it"! A much more happier girls voice called from behind them.
"We sure did Ames"! Sonic called out to her and spun her around before letting her arm wrap around his.
"I hope you learned a big lesson mr eggman". A cross bunny scolded from next to tails.
Eggman gave a hearty belly laugh before replying.
"A few pesky- a few mobians taught me one yes". He took a glance to two hedgehogs and a fox before walking ahead.
"Eggman...what are ya doin"? Sonic called.
"Going home. I'm sure you lot have many Christmas plans".
"Would you like to join us"? The blue hedgehog grinned.
"Me? You're sworn enemy"?
"Perhaps we can have today as our break".
"I...i would like that very much...sonic".
