I feel a shriek of surprise escape me but it's quickly captured by her soft kiss. I almost pull away, because this can't be happening right now. It's too good to be true. Wait, what the hell am I thinking? Ain't no way I'm pulling away from this. So I pick her up and sit her on the bathroom counter, still kissing her gently. She suddenly deepens the kiss and a soft moan escapes my mouth before I have a chance to stop myself. I can feel her hands lock around my neck and I pull her close, as if she's gonna suddenly disappear. She doesn't, but pulls away after a moment, resting her forehead on mine.

"I-uh-Letty that was-" I stammer, trying to think of something to say.

She laughs, in what sounds like relief. "I've actually been wanting to do that for a while."

"You-you what?"

She grins and slides off the counter, walking out of the bathroom and pulling me along with her.

"Come on. Let's go home. You're picking what game we play."

I watch her leave the bathroom, still shocked, before shaking myself off. We get Leon and Vince and head back to the house, pulling out a bottle of tequila before we head upstairs. We go to Dom's old room, which is now where Vince stays, and turn on the lamp.

"Aight Gabi what's it gonna be?" Leon rubs his hands together.

I think for a moment.

"How about we play a 'spin the bottle' drinking game?" I wiggle my eyebrows and smile evilly when the boys groan. "Come on, you spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on you both gotta take a sip before you kiss."

Leon and Letty agree after a moment, and so the three of us turn to Vince. He narrows his eyes at us then shakes his head and concedes. We cheer and get started, pouring tequila for ourselves. It's actually really fun. Vince and Leon kiss each other like they've got toxic waste on their lips whenever they have to kiss, which is somehow still less hilarious than watching Letty trying to kiss Vince without scrunching her face in disgust. And I somehow end up kissing Leon every time I spin. I spin the bottle once again and it points to Vince.

"Carajo, 's a damn good thing I'm drunk V," I giggle, taking a sip before leaning forward and pecking him on the lips. "Letty your turn."

Letty scoots forward and sends the bottle twirling around. After slowing for a while, my stomach flutters when the top end finally lands on me. Vince sends me a look that I purposefully pretend not to see. I look at Letty and take a sip before reaching up and take her chin, bringing her lips down to meet mine.

I don't know which one of us deepens the kiss but before I know it, I can hear Leon going, "Damn okay then, come on guys it's my turn."

I break away and can feel my face heating up as I look over at Vince. I think he's too drunk to really process what just happened, though, because he just gives me a blank look, and I internally sigh in relief. I glance at Letty when Leon spins the bottle, and we all start laughing when it lands on me again.

"Shit man I think it's fate," I stand and jump into his lap, patting his cheek, and he doubles over with laughter. "That's it, I'm marrying Leon. He's the only man for me. This my soulmate right here. The bottle said so."

We only play one more round after that, calling the game when Vince falls asleep on the floor. Letty and I go downstairs into my room so that we don't wake Mia up, since they share a room now. When my Ma and I moved in, I was given the old office downstairs, and so now I sleep on the pullout couch in there. When I close the door behind me I look at Letty and raise an eyebrow.

"So what was that about?" I say, giggling.

"What?"

"In spin the bottle," I jump onto the bed and crawl over to her, bringing our faces dangerously close together. "You like kissing me or something?"

Letty giggles and bites her lip. "Maybe."

I grin and close the gap between us, laying her down underneath me. I love how her body feels pressed up against mine, and as her hands snake up my chest and into my hair she leaves trails of tingling sensations behind. My confidence wavers for a moment, though, when I remember how much we've had to drink, and I pull away.

"Letty..." I say. I force a smile. "We should sleep. We're both drunk, and you look tired as hell."

Letty tries to hide her yawn. "N-no. I'm so awake," she mumbles. I soften my gaze and kiss her one more time, trying to sear the feeling into my memory. I know that tomorrow, she's not gonna remember this, and things will go back to how they were before. Finally I make myself comfortable next to her and poke her cheek.

"Sleep," I mutter.

"But I can't when there's a really sexy girl next to me," Letty pouts, putting an arm around me. "Do you know her? She's cute. I think..." Letty hesitates, looks almost afraid for a moment, before looking up at me. "I think I like girls, too, Gabi."

I can feel tears coming to my eyes, and I wrap her up in my arms.

"Thanks for telling me Let," I whisper.

But Letty's already fallen asleep, so the only response I get is the sound of her soft and steady breathing.
