chapter 1

"Emilia time to get up" mom yelled from down stairs "I'm up mom I'll be down in a second" I yelled back slipping on my white tennis shoes.

I ran down the stairs to the kitchen where mom had set my plate of food. I ate everything and when I was done washed my plate. "You even washed your plate that's great thanks dear" mom said as I walked out the front door.

I ran out of the front gate and down the street to Jasmines house. I waited for her to come out and we walked to school together. "Jazzy are you coming to my party, its would only be you and my parents" I explained.

"Ya you know I wouldn't miss it for the world" she gave me a side hug as we walked up the school steps. The school was small and didnt really house that many kids.

When class started we pulled out our environmental science books and started making a study guide for this chapter. "We have a test tomorrow, make sure to have that turned in at the end of the hour" our teach was a bit on the 'he didn't really care' side and just wanted us to look busy.

If we passed the test then we were all good, well along with our book work that is. Jasmine sat next to me and would always copy my answers but I didnt mind. We were like sisters so I wanted her to pass just as much as I wanted to pass.

When lunch rolled around I started getting really hungry, I grabbed my tray and was disappointed with what we where having, meatloaf. I didnt really eat meat I'm not a vegetarian or anything but I just never really wanted meat.

As I walked past it the smell caught me and i grabbed some. Jasmine was suprised just as much as me, i grabbed the green bean casserole and some salad and sat down. I started eating and when i was done i still felt hungry.

"Jasmine are you going to finish your lunch?" I asked her sheepishly. "No, here" she gave me her meatloaf slice and salad. I ate it but still felt hungry, I frowned at myself but threw all my stuff away and went to my locker with jasmine close behind me.

"Are you okay, you ate more then normal and you ate meatloaf" she put her hand on my forehead and I pulled away. "I'm fine I was just really hungry" I told her smiling.

"Hey two eyes, looking like a pig today" i sighed, May and her crew had arrived to tease me about my two colored eyes and my lunch. "You should go back to the science lab where monsters are ment to be" Blaze, May's boyfriend said wrapping may in a hug.

"Leave her alone you guys" Jasmine said they turned to her and May shoved her. "Stay out of this brat" she told her, I felt angry and I pushed May back. "Why dont you leave both of us alone, you bitch" I said.

May was taken aback and had an angry face "what did you just call me?" She asked standing tall "do I have to repeat myself you deaf dog, leave. Us. Alone" I shoved her agian and she hit the ground and blaze picked her up and glared at me.

"Come on babe let's get out of here" he was making since finally "this isn't over" she flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder and they all strolled away. "Wow Emilia that was amazing, you stood up for both of us" jasmine hugged me and i smiled. "They cant walk over us anymore jazzy, I wont let them treat us like that anymore" I told her feeling a sudden shock. "I just called the leader of the school a bitch, oh shit" we both started laughing and walked to our next class.

When school was over I walked jasmine home and went to the library to finish my homework. When I was finally done it was almost dark, I ran home and when I walked in mom had made dinner and had it waiting for me. "Dad wont be home tonight but he will be here for your party" mom told me as I sat down next to her to eat dinner.

When I was finished I washed the dishes and went to my room and got ready for bed. In two days I would be 16 and it was going to be the best.
